Percy's POV
The mermaid's grey eyes sparkled. That little mermaid had more wisdom then even the wisest Athena kids at camp.
"So if all the stories are true are you related to Ariel."
She sighed like she was used to be asked this question.
"My names Annabeth and Ariel would technically be my niece."
"Nice, so all are children of Poseidon mermaids?"
"No." She replied.
"Do you eat sea fish or would that be considered cannibalism?" I asked I could tell I was making her mad. Good I thought.
"If your a son of Athena why do ask so many questions." She said knowing that I wouldn't be able to answer.
"I don't know," I said. "I guess we all have questions that's just the way the world works."
