After seeing that Ivory had the situation on the driveway under control (*understatement!*) I raced after Onyx. I skidded around the hallway in time to see the door close, I heard the click of the lock. I started banging on the door, Onyx was in there, Onyx the pretty girl who reminded me so much of my master. Brave, kind, even happy on the outside, but something in their eyes is broken. Ivory unlocked the door and I rushed inside to see Onyx curled on the floor, blood and tears streaked her face. I held her head in my lap and started crying for the beautiful, broken girl. She stirred and opened her eyes, I looked at her, hoping to convey everything I felt for her in a single glance, nuzzled against my chest and closed her eyes again. I just hope she understood.
