"Es tut mir leid. I am sorry. I did not know." She says. Ellie nodded, walking to the aisle marked cereal, in both german and english. She pulls a small box of frosted flakes off the shelf. She turns and walks around the corner swiftly, looking for crackers.
"Oomf!" She gasps as she runs into someone. They both fall to the floor.
"Bist du okay?" The person asks. Ellie frowns. The boy speaks german, but yet has a accent... It sounds familiar... Too familiar. Why? "Bist du okay?" He asks again, running his fingers through his dirty-blond/brown hair. He stands up, offering her a hand. Ellie takes it hesitantly, and he pulls her to her feet. As he does so, the too-big sunglasses slip off his nose. He gasps and fumbles for them as they clatter to the floor. Ellie gasps. It's... Niall Horan... One Direction. The puzzle pieces click into place. The accent is Irish. His hair is blond-brown. Of course! Why had she not recognized it sooner? "I'd better be going now." He mutters as he sidesteps towards the door, eyeing her.
"Come back here!" Ellie says authoritively and he freezes. He shakes his head, his sandy hair flopping in his eyes.
"No." He says nervously.
"Come back here or I scream Niall Horan of One Direction is in here and the fans come running." Ellie states, impressed with herself.
"You wouldn't."
"I would, and I will." Ellie says, opening her mouth. She wasn't really going to, but bluffing almost always works.
"Stop!" He pleads, his blue eyes begging. Ellie rolls her eyes and huffs.
"Fine." Ellie gives in, closing her mouth. Niall sighed a sigh of relief. Suddenly his phone starts ringing, and he panics. He dives into his pants for his phone, and it clatters to the ground. The phone goes silent, and Niall groans. He says something which suspiciously sounds like a curse in irish, picking it up. He presses buttons, trying to get it to come on. The screen remains black and Ellie cleared her throat.
"Ahem."
"What?" Niall says. Ellie casts her gaze over it.
"iPhone 5?" She asks. Niall nods.
"How did you know?" He asks.
"I'm a phone geek. Give it to me and I'll see what I can do." Ellie says, still holding her frosted flakes.
"Fine, but only as soon as we get out of this store." He says. She nods.
"Deal." She walks around the aisle over to the clerk.
"Two euros." The female clerk says, scanning the box. Ellie pulls out two euros out of her pocket, handing them to her. "Thanks, and have a good day!" She says, handing Ellie the box.
"You too." Ellie says smoothly, Niall right behind her. He hands the clerk six euros and a bag of popcorn, a box of candy and a package of crackers. She scans them, accepting the euros and handing him back his food.
"Danke." He says, walking out the door. The clerk smiles. "All right miss phone geek, fix it!" He shoves the phone at Ellie. She shakes her head.
