Half seen, half not
Not completely there
Hidden behind a mask
Society forces her to wear
Her face is made of plastic
Skin; smooth and clear
No blemishes are to be seen
Yet she's not as perfect as she may appear
From the outside layer
She looks as perfect as can be
But ask yourself a question:
What does perfection really mean?
We are all judgemental people
Who have different points of view
Our definitions of beauty are all different
Yet we are beautiful through and through
From skin to skin
And size to size
You are beautiful, you are unique
If you don't think so, open your eyes
Sure, the world is always judging
Critiquing all your flaws
But nobody can be perfect
Society deosn't know how much inner termoil they cause
It's impossible to please everyone
And their opinions don't really matter
Just focus on yourself
And everything will be better
There will always be a part of you
That isn't completely satisfied
But you know what, screw it
There's no need to hide
The girl from the beginning
She's you, she's me
Don't hide behind a mask
Whatever it may be
Show yourself to the world
And be proud of who you have become
You are beautiful, you are you
And that's pretty damn awesome
