Having to hear Arab adults go on and on about how while the entire world lived terribly, (e.g. Europe was experiencing its Dark Ages) we (along with Persians and Ottomans) were the most advanced in civilization, math, science, medicine, education, rights, (even women rights!) and etc. for CENTURIES.
