"Hey there, friends, we're back! Your two lovely hostesses, Rockin Robin anddddd-"
"(Your nickname. I ain't creative yall got that) Y/n." The two girls introduced once more. The group had moved into the small booth, now back on the air. Nancy and Jonathan were off to the side, while Steve was back to doing sound affects.
"Sorry about our abrupt departure, I hope you survived without us." Robin said "We had some annoying technical difficulties."
Behind them Steve plays a glass breaking sound, followed by a baby crying. Y/n cleared her throat "Luckily for you, we're here to make it up to you with a very special treat." She says.
Robin looked at her "Hey that almost rhymed!" She said with a grin, before getting back on track "Anyways! This treat is sure to turn your day, upside-down."
Y/n had already begun moving, switching out the record from earlier out with Diana Ross's 'Upside Down'. When Robin gave her said that, she instantly pressed play before taking in a breath. Good thing her and Robin worked perfectly together.
"Before you start bumping, here's a few fun facts about the boss." Robin began "She was born Diane in the North End of Detroit."
"Berry Gordy, thats Gordy with a G, signed her to Motown in 1961." Y/n swiftly took over "And one is the key number, because between 1964 and '67, the Supremes had ten songs hit top of the charts.
Robin then took over "Thats right folks, ten. Crazy right? Then in '78, she tried to make it big in the movies with The Wiz, which was a colossal flop-a-roonie. But, in my personal opinion, I still dig it. I mean Michael Jackson as a scarecrow? Give it a chanceeeee."
"Well if you do decide to give it a chance, make sure you bring your super-sized popcorn, because I heard this movie has a run time of over two hours." Y/n started again, getting back on track before Robin veered too off their plan.
Robin smiled over at her friend "All right, class dismissed. I hope you were taking notes. There will be a test later." She joked "Take it away Diane."
Y/n then reached over, and cranked the music up. The group then got up, and left the booth. Nancy got in front pulling out her keys, as they walked up to a shelf. She shoved something aside, using the key to unlock a padlock. Nancy and Jonathan then pushed the shelf with ease, revealing the hidden stairway down.
Steve was the last one in, so he got stuck closing the door. Y/n stopped to wait for him, since she was ahead, while the others went down. Once the shelf was back in place, he turned back and smiled when he saw Y/n.
"Hey."
Y/n smiled at him "C'mon doofus." She said making her way down the steps.
The two made it down, joining the other three in what Y/n liked to call their 'room of operations'. This is where they planned and went over all the crawls, along with going over all the information they had. Nancy grabbed the projector, and got it all set up.
Y/n walked over to the table, and sat down with a small sigh. Steve and Robin joined her too, while Jonathan stayed by the projector. Nancy began walking up to the wall where the projector, was displaying a map and a grid.
"So, assuming Murray's Intel is correct, the supply convoy is set to reach Hawkins at 10:00 sharp. Meaning I want Hopper in the tunnels and en route to MAC-Z no later than 9:00. Mike and Lucas will take their usual observation post. Barring unusual traffic, I expect the convoy to reach MAC-Z at 10:15. Once the burn starts and theirs a good amount of cover, the boys will signal Hopper, who'll make his move.
