Any and all characters and/or potions e.t.c used and mentioned in this story were brought to this world by J.K. Rowling. All credit for those go to her, and because I love them so much (don't glare at me like that, you know who you are) I use them in here. Amongst other things.

CHAPTER FOUR -- Teaching a teacher a lesson

Do you know how expressions go? I'm sure you do. And therefor I assume that you have, at least once, heard the expression 'a day in another persons shoes.' That expression is supposed to bring about understanding and mutual peace. Or something like that.

Let me tell you now. It doesn't. At least not quite as you would think. It certainly had some interesting results on Fenrir. It also lead to us scaring the life out of the teacher by displaying completely unlikely characteristics for who we were...supposed to be.

This is the story about the time we all got the chance to live a day in each others bodies. Yes, it was my fault. But how did this happen?

Those of you who know me can already assume.

It was a normal day. Well...my normal. So it meant that I had spent most of the day in my cellar. Ok, it won't make sense if I begin here. Let's start from the start.

I had just pulled an all-nighter and was stumbling towards the stairs. The stairs of my cellar. Meaning that I would have to climb two flights before making it remotely near my bed.

So, with feet of lead and unfocused eyes, I practically crawled my way up the stairs, dragging my body towards my room. Towards my bed.

I should not have stayed up all night. Even if my project was the coolest thing I had ever done. And succeeded in doing.

Slowly pushing open my door, I couldn't bring myself to change, so I ended up morphing into my lovely black wolf form and jumping onto the bed with what little energy I had left. Allowing myself a short stretch, I once again flopped down lifelessly on the bed, ignoring the fact that I had not changed back.

The other occupant of the bed shifted around when he felt the weight move the bed.

My fur rustled slightly as the breaths of my companion puffed against me from where his face burrowed into my fur. Then I rolled over, practically squashing Fenrir.

Of course he went ahead and did the one thing only he would do. He didn't yell at me. He didn't push me off. He didn't even try, because I know he could have of he wanted to. No, he went ahead and shifted into his own wolf form. Black and Silver fur merged together as a large silver wolf and a smaller black one both curled up next to each other, the silver one not bothered enough to wake up and the black one too tired to move.

That was how it was until the sun touched the horizon. Then my wonderful sleep was broken when Artemis nearly kicked down the door.

I say nearly. I lie. She kicked down my door.

The crash had me shooting out of bed, fur on edge. Fenrir opened one blue eye, before lazily rolling over, silver fur retracting and bones popping as he re-shifted into his human form.

"What.are.you doing?" I whimpered from the floor after shifting back too. My red eyes were dull and unfocused, a perfect representation of my brain.

"I was just wondering what on earth is busy bubbling away in our cellar?" The assassin in my doorway questioned, hands on her hips.

"Uhm...wha'?" I mumbled, mind still numb. Then it clicked. "Damn! The potion!" I squealed as I jumped up and dashed down the stairs, suddenly very re energised.
