We were jumping around like high school freshmen at their first homecoming. "I can't believe he did it! I mean, I knew he would, I'm the one who gave him the address, but I'm so excited!" Carly was rummaging around in my closet, trying to pick out an outfit for me. "Did he tell you where you guys were going?"

I shrugged , "He didn't tell me, he said it was a surprise."

"Well that's butt." She stopped "What would you wear to a surprise?"

"I don't know." I yawned "Hopefully, it's somewhere to eat. I can find out if he's actually interesting and not just hot, and if he's boring, I still got free food." She rolled her eyes. "Will you be okay here alone?"

"Kaylee, I am an adult, I think I'll be okay being alone for the night."

I grinned, "One, remember that time I left you alone for a few hours and we "mysteriously" had thirteen stray cats in our house? Two,Who said I'll be gone the whole night?" She raised her arms defensively.

"I knew you didn't believe me when I told you the story!"

"Thirteen cats don't just appear in our house randomly." I hopped on my bed. "When I come home tonight, which I will, I just make sure we don't have in stray animals in the house." She muttered an okay before burying me in clothes.

It was 8:50 and I was terrified. I was only ten minutes until he was here. Since I didn't know where we were going, I decided to wear a purple crop top, jeans and black open toe heels. I was pacing back and forth in the living room, ignoring the pain in my feet. I was mentally counting down till nine.

"Okay, so I know that you're nervous but," She hopped down onto the couch "You have to stop doing that." She slid her wig off and turned on the TV. "Everything will go perfectly. He will fall in love with you. You guys will get married, then give me eight nieces and nephews." I gave her a look. The doorbell rang, causing me to jump. Carly sighed, "I guess I'll get it since you're about to piss your panties. Go in the bathroom and act like you didn't get dressed two hours ago." I ran to the bathroom, hearing her chuckled behind me. I rushed into the bathroom and closed the door behind me. I could hear Carly greeting him and telling him to sit on the couch. I gave my myself a good once over, then decided to listen to Carly and Noah talk.

"So, where are you taking her?" She asked sweetly

"I can't tell you."

"Well, why not?" I could hear the frustration in her voice

"Cause, if I tell you, then you'll tell her." I could imagine him grinning when he said it.

"Whatever pal. You just bring her back in one piece and we won't have any problems." I could hear the seriousness in her voice. I've never heard her threaten anyone before, I was usually the one handing out the threats. How cute.

I decided to finally come out of the bathroom. I took a deep breath and talked walking to the living room.

"Ah, here's the princess." Carly announced, causing Noah to turn around. First he looked at my face, then at the rest of me. Then back to my face. His eyes grew dark, but his smile never faded. He stood up and walked over to me.

"You look beautiful, Kitten." He whispered into my ear after embracing me in a hug. My face was on fire, but I couldn't help but to think, when did I get the nickname Kitten?

"Thank you." I said shyly. This guy was breaking me down but it would be stupid to put my guard up, right?

"Okay, you two can leave now." Carly said from the couch. Noah laughed while I rolled my eyes. We started walking to the door. "Be safe guys!"

"I'll call you once I'm on my way home." I blew her a kiss and she blew me one back.  We walked out the door and to the parked car in the driveway. Before I could even reach for the car door, he opened it for me. I smiled. "What a gentleman."

He smiled back, "I do what I can." He closed the door once he made sure I was safely inside and then entered the driver side. "Now," He started the car. "Are you ready for the best night of your life?"

We were thirty minutes into our date and we found out a lot about each other. Almost a little too much. Once you get pass the ungodly sexiness, I found out he was a complete mess, just like me. Instead of a dinner date, he took me somewhere that I was going to fun no matter what; Skyzone. A place where there's nothing but indoor trampolines. After almost breaking every bone in our bodies, we went out for ice cream. I was 11:15 and we barely touched our sundaes, which were now melted.

"Are you serious?" I couldn't stop laughing

"I'm very serious. Every pet I've ever had has tried to run away from me. Even my turtle." He chuckled, "But now I have a cat, and she loves me."

How adorable, "What's her name and what kind of cat is she?"

"Her name is pasta and she is orange." I couldn't help but to laugh at him again. "Do you have any pets?"

"I used to have fish, but this kid I used to babysit ate them." I shivered at the memory

"Wait, the kid ate them? Straight from the tank?" His eyes grew wide.

"Yeah. He ate all five in one sitting. We had to rush him to the hospital to make sure he wouldn't get sick. His mom wouldn't let me babysit him anymore, but I feel like a six year old should know not to eat goldfish straight out of the bowl." He was the one laughing this time and I joined him. While in the midst of our fun, my phone started ringing. I could tell it was Carly because I had her ringtone set to TwentyOnePilot's Stressed Out. "Excuse me." I told Noah while I picked up my phone. "Hey, Is everything okay?"

"No, No, Everything is bad." She whispered through the phone. "You know the guys we had over last week?"

I frowned "Yeah, what about them?"

"Well-" She was cut off by someone yelling, "They're here and angry. I'm hiding in the basement."

"Carly, Listen to me carefully, okay? I want you to continue hiding. Don't move from that spot unless you're running to a better hiding spot, I'm on my way."

"Okay." She whispered and hung up the phone. I sighed and looked at Noah.

So much for a peaceful night.
