Finally the day to go to Grimmauld Place arrives and Will is practically jumping off the walls in excitement. After breakfast we part ways with Will and Bonnie. Taking the Marauders Map and invisibility cloak, we navigate out way to Hogsmede. We hang out in the three broomsticks, trying to act older than we are, until Bonnie and Will turn up. They take us to a dark alley where Bonnie produces a Chuddley Cannons scarf.

"You guys ready?" We both nod, and grab a corner of the scarf. Will is still bouncing up and down in excitement.

"This is so awesome. I can't wait for you guys to see Grimmauld Place and meet Kreacher and we can see if you're on the fami-" Suddenly I'm swept off my feet. I land, face first, on a cold, hard road. I pick myself up off the ground and Bonnie hands me the scarf to stop the blood that's gushing out of my nose.

"Sorry. Apparating for the first can be a bit disorientating. We're not really supposed to know how but Narcissa Malfoy, a relative of ours, taught us when we were young and lived with her. She thought it would be handy tool to have because she knew we couldn't stay with her for very long and we have a knack for getting in trouble." Bonnies explains.

"Are you pulling our leg?" Myer asks. "Eleven and thirteen." She says, pointing at the two houses next to each other. "There is no twelve." She puts her hands on her hips and looks at Will expectantly.

"There's an disillusionment charm so muggles can't see it, duh." Will says as he mutters a quick spell and another house appears before us.

"Remember, we only have two hours." Bonnie reminds us as we enter the house. We are met with a long, dark, musty hallway. Bonnie and Will enter first, they flick a light switch, turning on a chandelier that hangs low from the ceiling. They then go about lighting the gas lamps that line the walls. The light makes the place seen less haunted. The décor is severely out-dated, the wall paper is peeling and the carpet has been worn thin. As we make our way down the hallway I trip over a troll-leg umbrella stand, waking up a portrait of an old woman who starts shrieking.

"Oh shut up you mad old bat." Will says, chucking a cloth over her.

"Who is that?" Myer asks as I pick myself up.

"That is Grandma Black. She is a horrible old woman that never shuts up, but she's family and I don't have the heart to burn the bloody thing. So we just leave her to it, you get used to the yelling after a while." Bonnie explains. At the end of the hallway is a narrow staircase that Bonnie and Will start to descend so Myer and I follow. The stairs lead down to a large cavernous room which I presume is the kitchen. Will heads to one end of the room to light a fire while Myer, Bonnie and I take seats around a large wooden table in the centre of the room. Out of a small door at the other end of the room an old house elf appears. It hops onto the table and bows to Bonnie.

"Shouldn't Miss Bonnie be at school?" He enquires.

"It's fine, we just want to look at the family tree. Kreacher this is Teddy Lupin and Myer Adams." Bonnie says, introducing us.

"Yes." He nods. "Lupin, I know Lupin." He mutters, seemingly to himself.

"You do?" I ask.

"Yes, your mother. Strange woman she was, very strange. Sometimes had a duck beak as a mouth, very strange." He continues to mutter to himself as he heads o the fire and starts to make tea.

"I guess your Mum was a metamorphmagus like you." Bonnie says, I nod.

"Yeah, it's my Dad I have to thank for the werewolf gene." Kreacher hands each of us a cup of tea and then inspects Myer.

"Master Sirius was once in love with a Myer." He sa

"Yeah, it's my Dad I have to thank for the werewolf gene." Kreacher hands each of us a cup of tea and then inspects Myer.

"Master Sirius was once in love with a Myer." He says.

"He was?" Bonnie asks, sitting up straighter.

"Yes. He used to say her name while he was sleeping, I remember, even after she died."

"How did she die?"

"Master Sirius would never say. He was very sad about it. He never loved anyone else after her."

"Not even our Mum?" Will asks, sadly.

"I have told you, you were an accident." He nods sombrely.

"Do you, um, know anything about my Mum? Jennifer Adams?" Myer asks. Kreacher cackles.

"Yes, I knew Miss Jennifer."

"Why is that funny?" She demands.

"Miss Jennifer did not visit often but when she did, she made her presence known. She did not like Mr Remus or his strange wife."

"Why not?" I ask.

"I do not know, I do know that they yelled and insulted each other a lot."

"How strange..." Bonnie muses. "Your Dad and your Mum hated each other. I wonder why...was Jennifer in the Order?"

"No. Miss Jennifer lived in America. She only visited when she wanted something or when she was called upon." Will drains his mug of tea and stands up.

"Well, this is fascinating but we're kind pressed for time, so shall we go look at the disaster that is our family tree." I take my half-drunk mug of tea with me as we ascend the stairs then , to get to the drawing room where the Black family tree is we have to go up more stairs. The walls going up the stairs are decorated with rows of creepy shrunken House-elf heads, mounted on plaques. I run up the last few stairs, eager to get away from the disturbing heads. On the landing there are three doors.

"That's my room." Bonnie says, pointing at the door in the middle. "And that's a bathroom." She says, pointing at the door on our left. "This is the drawing room." She says, entering the door the on the right. We all follow her in. In the drawing room the far left wall is taken up by a large tapestry of a family tree.

"And now, the moment of truth." Will says, eying Myer as she cautiously approaches the tapestry. "Go on, I'm sure there's nothing to be scared of." Myer rushes forward and starts examining the large tapestry. Will takes a seat in the corner and finishes his tea while Bonnie and I help Myer.

"Look! There! Myer Adams!" Bonnie says, excitedly pointing at Myer's name. "Huh, that's strange."

"What? What's strange?" Myer asks, worried, she hurries over to Bonnie.

"Well, there's Nymphadora Tonks and she married Remus Lupin and had Teddy. But...Remus had another kid." Will and I join them as she points at the names and the faces on the wall.

"Oh my god." Myer says, slowly standing up.

"What? I can't see a damn thing because Bonnie's big fat head is in the way."

"Teddy is my half-brother."
