I'm going to remake the entire thing because frankly I like making character descriptions. Also, no face or voice claims, use your imagination.
James Sokon Davis
"Sure... whatever dude."
A Ryukyuan-American born and raised in Camp Courtney, Okinawa. A good-hearted, smart, but socially awkward dirty-blonde haired boy. Contrary to popular belief, he is not trained to a military standard, mostly sheltered from anything related to weapons. He has a passion for music, and his favorite artist is Mac Miller. He has no parents (left) and has never stepped foot in the United States. De facto main character of this story.
Harry Murakami Jones
"Worst name ever?"
He comes from a well-off Afro-Japanese family in Sasebo, Nagasaki. A funny, extroverted, and a very unserious person. He has a very close relationship with his grandfather, a full-blooded American Vietnam War veteran who was heavily influenced by the likes of Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali. He likes to chase girls, but most attempts fail not because of his own fault, but because he is just usually unlucky. His distant cousin plays in the NBA, making him a big fan.
Daisuke Shindo
"Do we even have a plan?"
This boy comes from a long line of kendo practitioners that originally came down from Osaka to Nagasaki. He is usually disciplined and serious, but his jokes could sometimes go even further than Harry's. He is also considered a motorhead, owning a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo and spending most of his allowances on car parts. This is likely due to the influence of his uncle, a mechanic and someone affiliated with underground drifting communities.
Vincent Paul 'Vinny' Imperioli
"It's some real greaseball shit."
An Italian-American transfer student from New Jersey, his father sent him to Basilone University High School to 'teach him a lesson'. As expected from someone coming from a possibly rough family, he is brash, impatient, and sometimes a little stupid. Under all that though, he has a softer side to him, and is usually really good at making acquaintances with people that a normal person would have difficulty befriending. He loves to chase girls, but lacks strategy.
Ichiban Kasuga
"Yeah, that's not going to work."
Born and raised in the slums of Sasebo, he was always interested in finance and ways to be wealthy, contributing to his surprising seriousness and discipline. Because of his background, he is also best friends with Vinny, who he refers to as a 'brainless monkey' in interviews. He is also somewhat socially awkward, but has a strategic mind that rivals Davis and Shindo themselves, albeit more skeptical of others than his friends.
Charles Fuhrberger 'Charlie' Pulaski
"You betcha!"
A German-Polish-American transfer student from Wisconsin, he came to Basilone because he was interested in Japan. Generally one of the kindest, most caring, and the most mature person one could ever meet. He is a bit clueless in romance, but from where he's from, that doesn't really matter that much. He loves hunting, fishing, grilling, and camping, being really good at all four. Do not ask him about the SS Edmund Fitzgerald.
The Aizawa Brothers, Kinji & Seiya
"Trust me, we work real good if we're together!"
Twin brothers born and raised in Sasebo, Nagasaki. Kinji is the older of the two, being a second-year student in Basilone while his little brother, Seiya, is a freshman. Contrary to popular belief, them working together does nothing to improve their performance. People still do it anyway because it fits better. Kinji is hot-tempered and more serious, while Seiya is more timid and likes to tease.
