Chapter 08. Favorite Hangout

"You see, Kyungsoo and I are cousin, that's why I called her Oppa, he's older than I am. We live at the same house together with our Auntie and Uncle," I said and they all slightly drop their jaw. "B-bwo!? Cousin?" Tiffany asked in disbelief. "Wow! You're so lucky! That guy was one of the handsome boys in the campus!" Sunny exclaimed as she giggled.

"And wait, I've heard that he also called you Yeonnie, Uwa! That's cute!" Yoona exclaimed as she squealed. "Yeah, why not call you Yeonnie from now on?" Sooyoung smiled brightly. "That's cute, Yeonnie~" Tiffany said with a cute tone. I blushed by the thought when they want to call me at that way.

"Let's eat now girls before students will attack this place," Seohyun said and so I get my lunch box inside of my bag and also grabbed the chopsticks. "Homemade lunch?" Sunny suspiciously asked. "Oh why, Sunny-sshi? Haven't you tasted a homemade lunch?" Hyoyeon asked sarcastically. "Yeah but it's not my mom always prepare for me, it's just our helper," she answered as she frowned.

"But.. Homemade lunch box is more delicious when our mother prepares it for us, right girls?" Sooyoung asked and we all nod, I just bit my lower lip when I remembered what Auntie told me. There might be any possibility that my Eomma was still alive, but that can be impossible, if she's still alive, why did she didn't find me? As the time that I need her the most, during of my fear life and also with my trials that I bare, why didn't she look for me?

Aish! That's enough, I think she's already gone, but if she is still alive, well, I don't know if what's my decision. Whether to forgive and love her again or ignore her for not looking for me when I'm already 23 years old now? Can't she just be too worried of what happened to me? Or what did I do during she's not with me?

"Yeonnie? Yeonnie? Are you alright?" I mentally snap out when they all turned their attention to me with a worried look. "H-huh? Uh.. O-of course! Let's eat, I'm hungry," I said as I change the topic.

"No you're not, it seems like you look pale," Yoona placed her palm on my forehead. "Well, your temperature is normal. What do you feel? Do you got any headache, stomachache? Huh?" She asked at me worriedly. "No I don't have, let's just eat girls," I said and change the topic. The reason why I'm also pale its because that so-called Master of that so-called famous section will scold me even more.

Ugh! Forget about him!

GreenFields Library, 12:58 pm, Taeyeon's POV

I was scanning for Agricultural books in the library, searching for the meanings, uses and the scientific name of any kinds of herbs, it's our Agriculture subject for now. The teacher's out for something cause he went for some important meeting with the other staffs, the girls wanted to accompany me but I refused, I told them to go home cause I need to research, yes, Agriculture subject starts at 1 to 4 pm.

They told me that they should be with me 'cause they also need to accompany me but again, I refused. They've done enough for me, that's why I let them go home this early. I just wanted to refresh my mind of what happened today, this very early day and the first day of school.

I got a little dizzy to find the book of agriculture in this very vast place. I sighed and went back to my seat since I've already got 5 thick books to choose, maybe it's already enough. I placed the book on the top of the table and adjust my eyeglass for a better view.

"Hmm, which will I choose.." I mumbled to myself as I look at the five books infront of me. "The Agriculture 5, Learning Agriculture, Scientific Root crops in Agriculture, Herbal medicines and Learn The Agriculture Life," I said while looking at them one by one.

I slightly messed up my hair and massage my temples to decide if what book will I choose. I only need one book since I can't read this five thick books in just one day! Maldo Andwae! "What to choose? What to choose?" I asked myself as I shut my eyes while poking my forehead.

"I think you must choose The Agriculture Five," My eyes opened in surprise when someone answered right behind me. And as I look back, it's Kyungsoo with a wide smile on his face. "O-oppa! You almost give me a heart attack!" I said as I hold unto my chest. "Why are you here anyway?" I asked as I raise one brow. "Can't you just offer me to sit with you?" He sarcastically asked.

I make a face and immediately smiled at him. "Oh well, sit down, sit down," I offered him a chair in front of me. "Thanks," he flashed a grin and seated in front of me. "So.. Again, why are you here?" I asked again. "Tsk! Am I not allowed to visit inside the library for sometimes?" He sarcastically asked back.

"N-no, I mean.. You must be at your classroom right? You still have classes, and... That so-called master will surely scold you again," I bit my lower lip, but instead of answering my questions, he just flashed a smirk while looking away.

"Anyways, why are you here alone? Where are your other friends?" I blink my eyes for thrice. "Uh.. They already went home," I simply answered. "What? They didn't care about you? What the hell that girls were doing?" he said with gritted teeth, I'n shocked for his suddem reaction. That's not what I meant!

"Yah! That's not what I meant, they already went home 'cause I let them go. They even wanted to accompany me but I don't wanna, they've done enough for me and it's too much," I smiled at him and his face softened. "Hmm, I guess it's my time to accompany you by my own," I don't know why but I suddenly felt that my face slightly turned red.

"U-uh.. T-thank you," I shyly said as I look down. "Anyways, have you got dizzy looking for an answer and scientific names, uses, and meaning of any kinds of herb?" He asked, I immediately look up at him with a confused expression. "H-how did y-you know?" I asked curiously. "I already done this before, so my advise to you, you're going to pick The Agriculture Five, all of your questions are answered by that book," He pointed the book of Agriculture 5.

"Oh..um.. Thank you," I simply said and grabbed the book as I started searching for the herbs. "Omo! You're right Kyungsoo! It's all here!" I said in disbelief when I saw all and any kinds of herbs are all here with their uses, meaning and their scientific name.

"Told yah, better right them down," He commanded and so I immediately grabbed my notebook and pen inside of my bag as I write down all of the herbs. "Sure thing you're gonna be perfect," he pats my head. "Ugh! I'mma like a dog?" I asked sarcastically and rolled my eyes. "I'm just being sweet you know," He smiled, I blow off my hair that slightly covering my eyes and started writing the herbs again.
