Chapter 04. My Relatives

"He wave you goodbye and you were about to run towards them when they suddenly disappeared with the light. Then you said that you felt like you were drowned and as you opened your eyes, you saw six doctors infront of you while we are crying for you. You are looking at your body who was lying on the hospital bed, unconscious. As you saw the doctor tried to press the heart detector to your chest in 16 times, you felt like someone is pushing you. But then when the doctor stopped, you are just looking at your body and the doctor was about to cover it when you felt like there's the feeling that someone is pushing you again. You look back at us while crying out loud and that's the time that you came inside of your body again. Taeyeon dear, your father gave this to you to live once more. You said that you saw a man with a long and a golden hair wearing like a white as a bright light? That was totally the Christ! God gave this life to you Taeyeon, this is now your second life,"

I was just sitting beside her with no more words coming out through my mouth. "But.. They said that the both of them already died?" I asked but she shook her head as she hold unto my hands tighter. "No dear, there's any possibility that your mother was still alive," she answered, I feel like happy if that would probably happen to me but a part of me was on a mad way. "If that's the case, she should find me," I said with a cold tone. "So.. Did you already remember about those things?" The man asked, I looked at him and slowly shook my head.

"Aw, Arasseo, it's fine, let me just introduce ourselves," he said and so I just nod. "I'm Jeung TaeSoo, I'm your mother's elder sister," she said and flashed a bright smile. "I'm Jeung Wun Myun, her husband," he said and flashed a smile. "U-uh.. Hello ma'am and Sir!" I stuttered while looking down, I feel like a bit shy now. "Call us Auntie and Uncle" Ma– Auntie said and hold unto my hand. "N-ne, ma– Auntie," I said and cleared my throat.

"Hmm, I hope you'll remember us," Auntie said and frowned, I held her both hands as I flashed a sweet smile. "Don't worry Auntie, I'll just work with it. In fact, earlier when you explain about the past, I felt like I was mesmerizing myself and my whole mind was on the past life," I said and chuckled a bit.

"Hehehe, come now, I know you're both hungry, so! Have you enjoyed your tour in Seoul?" She asked but Kyungsoo interrupted. "Yeah auntie, and actually, I accidentally left her on the roller coaster alone," Kyungsoo said shyly as he scratch his nape. "Omo? Do you prefer vomiting?" Auntie asked in disbelief. "Aniyo Auntie, in fact, I was enjoying the ride! It's fun!" I said with happiness and then their worried face turned into a delighted one.

"Really? Ha! Taeyeon is a very brave girl since she was just little!" Uncle exclaimed and clap his hands. "Alright there, let's eat, and oh! Don't worry, I already brought foods and I especially made them just for the both of you," Auntie said and started taking the foods from the carton bag. "Uwa! Yehet! I love homemade foods!" Kyungsoo exclaimed. "So as I," I said and smiled as I took my seat beside Auntie.

We started eating happily while my eyes were caught to a very delicious food that is exactly my most favorite! "Eat now Taeyeon," Auntie caught my attention and she suddenly smirks. "Oh this? Yeah, I especially made 'em 'cause this was your very favorite food since you're just a kid," she said and handed me a fresh steamed sea cucumber! Whaaa!

"U-uh.. H-how did you know about my favorite, ma–Auntie?" I shyly asked. "Cause you always requested me to buy this when you're still little," she said and put some sea cucumber on my plate. "Kamsamnida! I'll eat well!" Kyungsoo said and giggled while eating and munching his food. "Thanks for the food Auntie and Uncle, I'll eat a lot especially to my favorite fresh steamed sea cucumber!" I said and giggled. "Hmm, you should eat well, Taeyeon" Uncle pat my head.

While we are in the middle of our dinner, I look unto Auntie and Uncle who're just looking at us. "Why are you not eating? You should you two, the foods are great! You're the best Auntie!" I said as I gave her a thumbs up. "Hehehe, seeing you happily eating our homemade foods, I'm already full when I see you happily eat that one," she answered and smiled brightly. "Omo! Auntie is so cheesy!" Kyungsoo teased. "Stop it Kyungie, I'm serious here, just don't mind me you two, you must both eat well," she replied.
