There is a gate nearby that is mysteriously unlocked by those people who are seeking to make sense of the things which they have lost.  Some people wander on to find their sense of existence or they go on to find their true purpose in life. Others just want to find the right path to follow in order to get ahead in life. This gate remains locked with a chain and a thick padlock. It gets to be opened when it is needed to be a guide to those in need. This is a story where each step that is taken forward does help to unlock what remains hidden. Every person that goes through the gate and down the tunnel is transported to the memory that they need to face. This particular story is of a man that does not remember his name and he has been wandering aimlessly down the street without a sense of purpose. This is a man who has lost his own identity and his own essence. He keeps going forward, but he has no idea where he is going.

After walking for what seemed like hours the man decided to rest for a bit. The man had money in his wallet, but he did not have any personal identification inside the wallet which he had on his right pocket. He kept trying to remember anything that could help him to jog his memory, but for the moment nothing was working out. The man kept walking forward and then he saw the gate which was closed because of the chain and the padlock that it had.

This man then saw how the chain broke into pieces while the padlock fell onto the ground. After all of that happened the gate opened all by itself. The man felt a sense of fear and doubt because he did not know what to make of this. This man cautiously proceeded forward and he saw a big dark tunnel up ahead. He felt the cold atmosphere that surrounded him clinging to his own skin.

There was an absolute silence all around. It seemed as if you could hear a pin drop from the lack of noise. The man then saw a whole bunch of dark crows which were flying straight at him. He ducked down, but there were too many and it was very hard to try and avoid every single one of them. Suddenly, the man fell down a deep dark hole which he did not see. As he went down he saw weird flashes of dark ominous faces all around him.

Everything went dark for about five seconds and then the man opened his eyes and saw that he was facing a big wooden cabin. The man called out to see if there was anyone at the cabin, but no one answered. He was slowly walking towards the front door and then the front door opened by itself. There was a big bear inside the wooden cabin which started to chase the man. As the man ran for his life he felt that the forest that surrounded him looked familiar. The man then found a hunting rifle and checked to see if it was loaded. Now that the man had seen that the rifle was loaded he took it with him.

While the man slowly proceeded forward he was on high alert. A few moments later, the bear ran right towards him and he shot and killed the bear. As the weight of the dead bear pushed him back he fell backwards and he hit his head which knocked him out. After the hard hit to the head the man was out for hours and he woke up in the middle of a forest. Once he woke up the man saw a hunting rifle next to him. He then remembered that he had gone out to the forest to hunt a deer and then he was attacked by a bear. The man now did remember who he was and he proceeded to go to the wooden cabin which he owned. He was glad when he got back to his wooden cabin which he considered to be his own personal sanctuary. Inside the cabin he got to see a painting on the right wall which he had recently bought which showed the same gate that he had seen while he had lost his memory. He saw that the human shadow that was next to the gate in the painting did have a person holding what seemed to be a rifle. The second time that he looked at the painting the human shadow of the person holding a rifle had vanished from the painting.
