Third Person POV:

Lucas's House

"Why did you put me back in school if we are moving?" Lucas asked his mother.

His mom stopped what she was doing to look at him. "Lucas, I'm not just doing this for me. It's for you."

"That literally makes no sense."

"This school you're going to, clearly isn't working. Plus, thomas is a horrible influence on you."

Lucas just rolled his eyes, but tried not to show it.

"I am different now...I'm changing." He slowly said.

Lucas's mom just shook her head, not believing him. "Okay. But we are still moving next week."

She then left the room and Lucas stood up, grabbing his car keys.

Whatever.. He thought.

But there was no way he was leaving New York City.

He got into his car and started driving down the road a few miles.

Once he reached his destination, he got out and walked in.

It took some memory to remember where he was going but he found it.

He knocked on the door once and waited.

Not even a month ago, he was standing in this same place again.

The door opened and the person said, "Lucas what are you doing here?"

"Maya. I really need to talk to you." Lucas said.

Before she could answer, he said "Maya I really like you. It's not just because we fake dated for two weeks but I truly like you. And I want you to be my girlfriend."

The feelings felt so sudden, but it just came to Lucas.

After all that time they spent together arguing and teasing the last two weeks was somehow refreshing.

"I don't know if I like you." Maya said.

She said quickly, "I've never had a crush on a guy before...I don't know what it feels like."

And that's when silence came.

Lucas had leaned down and kissed her, not thinking at all.

And this time, after two kisses and a dream, she actually kissed back.
