"She was my dream girl and she still is. She made me the happiest person alive - she leaves me breathless, even till this very day. And I couldn't have asked for better. Knowing that I'm never going to see that smile or those eyes or hear her raspy voice again, it- it makes it really hard not to cry. But she will always be in my heart."

Lauren

"I've only got three left though Laur, help me out here." He practically begged as I rolled my eyes and shifted my weight to my left foot. My blood was boiling beyond belief. Every week he comes to me begging for something different and never has any money. Now, I'm at the point where I feel like he's trying to take advantage of me and that is something I will never let happen.  I crossed my arms over my chest and stared him dead in the eyes.

In my opinion, my eyes are my best and worst asset. I could bore my eyes into yours and see through every lie you've ever told or I could look into your soul and seduce the fuck out of you until you melt in my arms. But at the same time I've never been able to hide my emotions, they always seem to seep through my gaze no matter how hard I try to control it. That's how I know he can tell how pissed off I am right now.

"I told you this last week and this will be the last time I fucking say it. I cannot and will not keep giving you free shit, if you want X so bad go beg for change in front of a goddamn Wendy's for all I care. Ecstasy is twenty each. If you don't have that for me, I can't fucking help you Alex."

"Oh come on-" I raised my hand to silence him.

"Come to me with some cash and we'll talk." I spat and turned on my heels to head back into the club. As soon as I turned around I felt a calloused hand pull me back by my elbow, causing me to spin around. By instinct, I reached for my waistband and grabbed my silver 9 millimeter pistol, shoving it under his jaw as I pushed him up against the building.

Being a girl in this business is extremely difficult so I have to protect myself at all times, even if it's at someone else's expense.

"Do not touch me." I growled at him. He was shaking under my grip. I trailed the cold barrel of the gun up his face until I reached his temple and roughly shoved it against his head. "Ever."

Obviously I'm not going to kill him. He just needs to know who's in charge. Me, of course.

I smirked at the look of fear in his eyes as I released my hold on him and backed away, keeping him at a distance. In our close proximity I could smell the alcohol on his breath and it made me want to puke.

"Get the fuck out of here." I demanded and he backed away with his hands up.

I kept my gun aimed at him until he vanished in the distance. Slowly turning around, I put my gun back in its place and straightened the collar on my leather jacket. I looked around to make sure no one had seen anything before releasing a sigh of relief.

"Fucking junkie..." I mumbled under my breath.

I could hear the muffled music as I reached for the handle on the door, holding it for the group of girls behind me.

"Thank you." One of them smiled up at me. I locked eyes with her and she stopped walking to hold my gaze completely. She was undeniably beautiful. From the way her dark hair fell down her back to the way her mouth moved when she spoke those two words to me.

"Walz! Come on!" One of the other girls called out to her and that seemed to snap her back to reality. She looked down shyly and blushed, giggling while running a hand through her hair.

She let out an airy "Sorry" through a small laugh and made her way into the club.

I guess you could say this is my place of work. I come here every weekend and try to sell as much as I can. I'm so well known here now though that I don't really have to push as much as I used to. People come to me for whatever they need.
