My face heats as I snatch it up and flop down between them. Scarfing the thing down quickly before handing Hayden back the empty plate. Maybe I can just make myself undesirable to them, then they'll get bored of me.
But they don't look bored. They're smiling knowingly, like it's obvious I'm trying to look like a pig. Zane chuckles as Hayden plucks the dish from my hands before I make a mess and places it beside him before turning back to me.
"Feeling better?" His voice is amused and light as he brushes a few crumbs from my lip. Our eyes lock when he pulls my lip down gently, leaning in as Zane's body warms my back.
I clear my throat, needing to address something that's been weighing on me. "Listen.. about last night. I don't really sleep around. And I know you guys.. do. But-"
"I don't." Hayden says firmly and I blink up at him. His eyes lock onto Zane's behind me, who tenses up as Hayden watches him just as close.
"It was my first time." He whispers and I still completely. What? That was his first time?
"But... girls are always all over you." I mutter and his lips tilt up. "There's no way you've never.." My cheeks heat and I can't finish the words. I can't believe it, I mean look at him.
"I haven't." He says simply. "Yes, they throw themselves at me. But I'm not interested in that." His hand brushes down my neck, pressing against my pulse which is pounding harder. "I'm only interested in you, both of you."
Zane's hand slides up my back before fisting the back of my hair gently. He tugs softly and my head falls back, his eyes searching my face as I feel Hayden's lips brush against my throat.
"Stop fighting this, you know this feels right. I may have been with other women, but nothing compares to the way I feel about you." His hand laces with mine on the couch, heat flooding through my body when he leans forward and kisses me sweetly.
Something is different, the way they're handling me. Speaking to me. It doesn't feel like a game anymore, it's feeling very fucking real.
I'm losing myself to their touch when the front door bursts open. I jump to a standing position, pulling away from them completely as Lyla barrels into the room.
"Serena!" She yells before running over and wrapping her arms around me. "I've been looking for you!"
I hug her back, still reeling from the shift in whatever the hell is happening between the three of us. She smells like something fruity and floral, her green eyes glimmering with excitement.
"Lyla, I'm sorry I haven't seen you. I've just been in my own world." I say lamely and she just smiles. "That's okay, Jade and the boys have been hogging you. But today, you're all mine!"
"Woah woah." Zane tugs my arm, pulling me back into his chest. "You can't just take her, we just got her here!"
Lyla scoffs before tugging me back over to her again. "You guys get her all the time. Let me hang out with her!" She whines before giving him puppy dog eyes, and at first he only scoffs. But then his eyes roll as he lets out a miserable groan before turning away.
"Fine, you have two hours." He grumbles and she squeals as he stomps off. Hayden just laughs, following behind him after giving me one more long, heated look.
"They're so obsessed with you." She rolls her eyes and I can't help but giggle, feeling giddy and relieved at her presence.
"I really have missed you. I'm sorry I haven't texted I've been, well hogged like you said." I laugh and she waves me off.
"I'm just happy we get some time finally. What do you wanna do?" She asks and I stare at her because honestly I don't even know where to begin. My life hasn't been normal in so long.
"I don't really know. I haven't done much relaxing lately, I've just been surviving." My voice seems smaller than normal and I cringe internally at myself. "But we can do whatever!"
She smiles before taking my hands gently. "Why don't we just slap on some face masks, watch trash tv and talk shit?"
Relief floods my system at her taking the reins, even more so that she wants to just relax because it's truly what I need. "That sounds perfect."
