Hayden

I can't keep the smirk off my face as I watch her twitch nervously in the back seat, looking between us and the doors like she might hop out while it's still moving. Her knee has been bouncing rapidly since the car started.

"Easy, baby. Just relax. We just want to make sure you eat." I say softly, biting my lip at the cute glare she throws at me through the mirror.

"Don't. Call. Me. That." Zane smirks next to me, stretching out further and crossing his arms.

"Aww cmon Hayden she doesn't like it." He says lowly, peeking over at her, "I promise you're safe with us, sweetheart."

She narrows her eyes, but she can't hide that pretty blush from her cheeks. She can act like she hates us all she wants, her body is telling us what she really feels.

We finally pull into the diner, the neon signs and buzzing from the lights hum lightly. I park, immediately getting out and coming around to open her door.

She stares at me for a moment, "Why can't I just go home?" Her voice is quiet, so guarded and unsure. And I love it. The way her eyes round when she's scared, her pulse jumping in her neck and the nervous twitching in her lap

"After this, I promise." I give her my most sincere gaze and she narrows hers, rolling them with a huff.

Holding my hand out, she eyes it warily before setting her small hand in mine. I tug her immediately, and she falls into me for a moment before pushing away from me. Her sweet smelling perfume lingering in the air making my lips tingle.

I want to taste her skin, lick her up and make her feel good. I want to see those eyes hazy and full of pleasure while I pound into her. She's so small too, I bet I could hold her up in my arms while I eat-

"You can after this, just let us feed you. It's been a long night."I say softly, my voice is sincere and at odds with the hunger pulsing in my veins, boiling my blood but I don't show it.

"Or, we could just leave you here. Let you wait on Jade to come get you?" Zane says in a taunting tone and she rolls her eyes, shouldering past me and heading for the doors to the diner as we chuckle and follow behind.

Her nervous twitching only gets worse when we're seated at a booth, I slide in first, by the window and Zane gestures for her to sit in the middle. "Right here." I pat the seat with a smirk and she sighs.

She sits, flopping down and scooting over with a huff as Zane slides in beside her, leaning forward and inhaling her as she turns and looks around the diner.

"What'll it be." The waitress says, her face is worn and tired. A grouchy look in her eyes as she looks at the three of us suspiciously.

We order our food quickly, Serena opting for only some pancakes and water and I have to roll my eyes. "You should eat more, you don't have much fat on these bones."

I pinch her side and she smacks my hand away. Zane hums in agreement, sitting so he's facing her and resting his elbow on the table.

"So, why was someone chasing you through the woods?" Her body locks up, glancing between us nervously before taking a small breath.

"I.. don't know. The other day I was leaving the library and there was someone on a bike just.. watching me. Then I was driving home, and he followed me. I tried to lose him, almost flipped over my damn car." She sighs, leaning back in her seat with her arms crossed over herself protectively.

"I thought I lost him, but as soon as I got into the house I heard his bike pulling up." She shivers and Zane and I share a dark look.

"Well." I say, sitting up straight and she eyes me warily, "We could always help you. Keep you safe and make sure that you're protected."
