Ragatha: "AH—! I-I-I know exactly what you're doing with Y/N, and it'll never work!"

Jax: "...Huh??"

Ragatha: "You know, getting close with Y/N... to corrupt them?"

Jax's brows furrowed out of confusion as his square eyes narrowed, analysing Ragatha before preparing to shoot her.

Ragatha: "Wait— no no no no no! WAIT WAIT WAIT—"

Ragatha, frantic to prevent Jax from shooting her, stuck her finger inside the gun. This led to said gun shooting backwards and covering Jax's face in gun powder, who lost a life from this.

Ragatha: "Oh wow, I didn't actually think that'd work—"

Pi—[WACK]-ed, Jax immediately pulled out a second gun and proceeded to repeatedly shoot Ragatha, making her the first person to be eliminated from the adventure. Jax's square pupils widened as he breathed angrily, his gaze remaining on Ragatha as his grip on his gun tightened. Y/N, rubbing their arm anxiously (they hit their arm on a random wall whilst attacking Kinger), found their way back to Jax.

Y/N: "I lost Kinger, but I got him down to one life."

Jax: "I lost a life, but I got us down to one Kinger."

Y/N: "...How'd you let her take a life off of you?"

Jax: "I don't really know."

The duo strolled through the circus together, just finishing off their conversation from before the adventure. Jax was genuinely enjoying listening to Y/N rant about random sh-[WACK!], despite what he'd do to them later on in the adventure...(FORESHADOWING‼️‼️😦😦)

Y/N: "Okay, there's something I've gotta ask, I've been thinking about it ever since the body swap adventure. What's with the corn thing?"

Jax: "What corn thing?"

Y/N: "Why are you afraid of corn? And don't say you're not. Remember when I rescued you from that corn maze? And when you literally jumped out of your seat twice when you saw corn?"

Jax: "Heh, not gonna let me out of this one..."

Y/N's eyes sparkled, genuinely interested and curious about Jax's supposed fear of corn.

Jax: "Well, I dunno. It's got a bunch of little pods on it. Looks kinda like an egg sack, or somethin'. It's gross. Makes my skin crawl." (as a victim of trypophobia this made me start violently shaking)

Y/N: "Huh... Do you happen to have trypophobia?"

Jax: "What's that?"

Y/N: "The fear of lots of little holes." (EWWWW— sorry that was rlly unnecessary)

The periwinkle rabbit shuddered, earning a small hum from Y/N in response, "Okay, how about pomegranates?"

Jax: "Awful."

Y/N: "I'm learning a lot about you today."

Jax's pupils dilated as he thought of something, ears pricking up. ("O-Oh no!...we're...G-GETTING ALONG!! No...I have to be an emo lonely boy bcus I can't betray pookie wookie ribbit😡😡")

Jax: "Heh, let's not forget we're here to kill people. We still need to figure out where nutso went before we can rest easy."

Y/N's eyes widened as they flinched, taking notice of Kinger stood in a doorway behind Jax. The rabbit's body froze as their walking ceased to a stop.

Kinger: "...I'm right behind you, aren't I?

The two swivelled around as they fired a multitude of shots at Kinger, the chess piece retreating into the darkness as Jax and Y/N followed behind. Multiple shots proceeded to get fired in pitch blackness, Y/N taking notice of Kinger as he pulled out a lighter to reload his gun in a corner.

Y/N: "There he is!" (Y/N YOU TROGLODYTE DONT RAT MY BABY OUT LIKE THAT)

The chess piece let out a startled yelp as the fight continued, multiple gunshots echoed through the room. However, Jax flinched as he accidentally shot Y/N, taking a life off of them. A genuine frown was displayed on Jax's face as he immediately apologised, something he rarely did.

Jax: "Sorry, sweetheart!"

Kinger: "I hope you guys are ready for my ricochet super move!"

The chess piece proceeded to fire a bullet, which ricocheted off of the walls as more shots were fired. After a bit, the bullet finally hit something. Y/N lowered their gun, looking around for a light switch as they were worried that Jax had been shot. However, their worry died down at the sound of Jax's voice.

Jax: "Oh, here's the light."

The room flickered to light, Kinger being shown to be eliminated as he had been shot. The duo stared at the chess piece, silence filling the room for some moments.

Y/N: "...Huh. Well done to us."

Jax: "High-five!"

Y/N smirked as their free hand slapped against Jax's as a high-five, whilst Kinger was just dead on the floor. (Poor Kinger😔) However, their celebration was cut short when distant voices and sounds were heard.

BANG!

Pomni: "AAGH—! R/N, WHAT THE F-[WACK!]?!"

Y/N stood more upright as they tightened their grip on their gun, immediately sprinting towards the sound. Jax's square pupils widened as he hastily followed close behind, his gloved hand gripping his gun as his other hand wiped a drop of sweat from his forehead.

Jax: "WAIT FOR ME—!"

Y/N: "THIS IS MY CHANCE TO KILL R/N! And I am NOT losing this chance!"
