Third Person POV:
Jax and Y/N searched around the room hallway, keeping their eyes peeled for any guns. The two checked almost everywhere; unoccupied rooms, cubes and so on. Whilst Y/N searched a stack of three cubes, Jax fished out a gun from in front of another cube. Y/N watched in slight awe as Jax leaned against the cube, twirling the gun around his trigger finger before aiming it at something.
Jax: "So, who are you gonna kill first, sweetheart?"
Y/N continued to admire Jax in all his glory, eyes sparkling slightly. 'He's so cool— w h a t . WHAT AM I THINKING—' They blinked, snapping out of their trance as they shifted on the spot.
Y/N: "Well I'm definitely gonna kill R/N. But, that's really it. I'll just find guns for you, and you can do the rest of the violent stuff... You like that, right?"
Jax kept his gaze fixated on his companion, lowering his gun as he made his way over to Y/N.
Jax: "You know none of this is real, right?"
Y/N: "...What's that supposed to mean?? Like, the circus?"
Y/N flinched ever so slightly as Jax roughly shoved the gun into their hands.
Jax: "The game today is literally to shoot each other, so what's the point in taking this moral high ground?" (this line got my leg shedding multiple tears)
The purple rabbit's gloves finger pointed towards a separate cube with three metal tins placed in a row. Y/N blinked, analysing the tins curiously.
Y/N: "Well, I like the others...they're chill. I don't wanna hurt them."
They pointed the gun which previously rested in their palms towards the tins with shaky hands, clearly nervous. Jax took notice of this, his eyes softening ever so slightly as he placed his gloved hands onto Y/N's arms.
Jax: "Alright, lemme be real here. Why do you care about that?"
Y/N: "About what? Not hurting the others?"
The periwinkle rabbit's gloved hand snatched the gun by its barrel, Y/N flinching slightly.
Jax: "Look, I know what it's like. One day, you're somebody in the real world doing important things. And then the next, you're just a weird little cartoon..." He trailed off slightly as he was about to say frog, his gaze drifting to Y/N. "...(what you are). You want to hold onto that part of you that's still part of that world, but in the end, what does it get you? Ragatha tries to be all nice and friendly, but she gets torn up every other adventure! Whether we like it or not, all we are know is a bunch of cartoon characters."
