(Y/N)'s POV :

The circus was calm today, to which I enjoyed. (R/N) wasn't around either which made things so much more better. I watched from a distance intently as Ragatha taught Gangle how to throw a baseball, Jax watching boredly as this whole thing played out. He hadn't noticed me yet so that was a win.

Ragatha : "So, you just wind your arm backwards in a big circle, release right at the bottom, and follow through. You got that?"

Gangle : "Um..."

Jax : "You're wasting your time, Raggy."

(Y/N) : [mumbling] "I think you're a waste of time, Jax."

Jax leaned against his baseball bat, still not noticing me. I began to contemplate if he did notice me and chose to ignore me as a joke...

Ragatha : [sigh] "Just wait a second!"

Gangle : "Like this?"

Gangle carried out the correct motion that Ragatha was teaching her, Ragatha and I smiling to yourselves whilst Jax just watched boredly. It was until Jax layed his eyes on me that my smile dropped, shoulders slumping slowly. Dangit he wasn't supposed to see me.. I thought to yourself.

Jax winked at me and turned his attention back to the girls, warmth threatening to race to my cheeks.

Ragatha : "Yeah, you got it!"

Smiling, Gangle used the technique and threw the ball over to the periwinkle rabbit, only for it to get hit right back at her by Jax. Gangle fell to the floor from impact, her mask breaking.

Ragatha : "JAX-!!"

(Y/N) : "That was a really good hit-"

Ragatha : "(Y/N)-!!"

I raised your hands in surrender, eyes widened.

Jax : "I actually didn't mean to do that."

Gangle looked down at her broken mask, small tears beginning to form in her never ending eyes.

Ragatha : "Are you alright, Gangle?"

Gangle : "Ow..."
