They step out of the car, the doors slamming shut behind me and I raise my eyebrow. "I don't think I need chaperones to feed a cat."

Zane raises his eyebrow right back at me, titling his head as he smirks arrogantly. "Maybe not, but I don't mind watching you." His eyes rake over my body suggestively as he licks his lips and my cheeks heat.

"It's not like that, baby. We just want to make sure you're protected, that's all." Hayden rounds the car calmly before kissing the side of my head. "Now, get inside and get some things packed."

Slipping the keys from my fingers gently, he steps right up to the front door while pulling me behind him. I'm dumbfounded as to why I'm letting him, but maybe things really have changed for me.

"Willow?" I call softly as we step in, the house quiet and still. A raspy meow sounds off as she trots around the corner and I crouch down, ready to give her scratches when she walks right past me. Weaving her way between Hayden's legs and rubbing into him before plopping down right at Zane's feet.

My jaw hangs open, my normally hissy cat purring loudly as they both bend over to give her pets while cooing at her

"Well aren't you a pretty girl?" Zane murmurs softly and my stomach flips at his tone, his eyes flicking up like he isn't just talking to her. His big hands stroke down her back and she rolls, presenting her belly.

Hayden chuckles, rubbing his long fingers through her fur. "I thought she didn't like strangers, baby?" He scratches the spot just under her chin and her eyes close in pure bliss.

"She doesn't.." I trail off and she finally gains some sense, walking over to me and I scoop her up in my arms. "She always hisses at my dad and Jade." I say still a little stunned.

Zane smirks walking up and petting her while she's in my arms and she wiggles in my hold. Letting go she moves right into his arms and his smile broadens, "Seems like she knows where you both belong." His voice deepens and my belly flips.

Willow meows and Hayden chuckles, "See? She knows." I stomp off toward the kitchen, pouring her a hefty bowl of her food and she jumps right out of his arms. Landing gracefully as she weaves between my legs while I set the bowl down.

"Yes well, don't get cocky. Food will always be her favorite." I brush past them as I walk to the stairs. "You can wait on the couch."

The second I make it to my room I place my back to the door, taking a deep breath and calling Jade. She picks up on the third ring sounding light and breathless.

"Hey! Serena oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't call I've been... busy.." She giggles the last word and I thump my head against the door.

"Listen, will you come stay with me for a couple nights? Just until-"

"Stop!" She hisses quietly and I falter completely, "Sorry Rena. Hey listen, I think you should just give it a shot with the guys. They clearly like you, and you obviously like them. And I'm still not home.. I'm with Vincent."

My throat tightens and I pinch my eyes shut, letting it settle in that she's not going to help me with this. If I told her everything would she choose differently? It doesn't matter, she's having a good time and I don't want to spoil it.

Sighing I stand taller, snatching up an overnight bag and shoving clothes into it. "Okay, you're right. Have fun, I'll see you Monday." She doesn't get it, something about these guys is darker. This isn't a normal "try it out" situation.

Hanging up before she can say anything else I toss the phone on the bed. My chest feeling tight and heavy as I try to breathe through the frustration. "Fuck."

I grab a little more than I might need, but something tells me I won't be coming right back here. Not after they get me in their house again. And I wish I could say I only felt dread at the thought. But a dark, twisted part of me looks forward to the late nights in their home.

Snatching up Willows favorite pillow, I'm zipping everything up when the floor creaks just outside the door.

"You okay?" Hayden knocks softly on the door and I take a small breath, his warm voice calming some of the pain in my chest.

Opening the door I hand him over a bag and he takes it immediately, swiping the second one from my hands with a small smile.

"I'm fine, just called Jade to.. check in." I lie and his eyes narrow slightly, sweeping over my face before he turns with the bags in hand.

"You mean to check if she'd save you?" He chuckles and I make an offended sound in the back of my throat before trying to push past him.

"What? That's not-" he cuts me off, turning and freezing me with a hard stare. Approaching me slowly he backs me into the wall, pinning me there with his body while still holding my bags.

Leaning in, he runs his nose across the edge of my jaw. Closing in on my ear before nipping the lobe and I gasp sharply. "If you really don't want this, tell me now. Ask me to leave you here and stay away from you."

I swallow hard, trying and failing to breathe normally while keeping my lips closed tight. Because I know I can't tell him that, and he knows it too. My silence hanging heavy in the hallway.

Hayden's mouth ghosts over my cheek, his breath sending shivers down my spine as he breathes against my skin. "Good girl, that's what I thought." He says, not arrogantly, more certain. Like the decision was made a long time ago.

His body presses further into mine and I let out a small whimper. "Stop trying to run to people who don't even see you." He kisses my lips softly and my eyes flutter shut, a soft sight leaving me and he pulls away gently. "We've always seen you."

Taking both bags in his left hand, he weaves his right with mine and tugs me towards the stairs. And I follow, completely silent as I realize just how much of a hold these two have on me.

I hear a deep voice murmuring quietly, answered by the purring meows of Willow as she lays across Zane's chest. Her trilling and tail flipping showing her traitorous allegiance.

Zane's eyes flick up from my cat to Hayden's hand laced with mine, a slow smile spreading across his face. "Well, looks like the girls are staking their claim." He says teasingly and I flush even harder.

Hayden squeezes my hand gently, my eyes lifting up to his and the dimples in his cheeks. "Put those away." I growl, his smile widening before I stomp over to Zane and take Willow out of his arms.

She plops back in mine, laying out on her back and pawing at my face. "She knows where you both belong." Zane stands, lifting my chin with his fingers and watching my eyes closely.

"Are you ready?" His voice is softer, seemingly genuine and I shrug lightly. My nerves raising but not in a scared way. I picture spending the next couple nights there, in one or both of their beds.

His eyes narrow as he smirks like he can read every filthy thought running through my head. Chuckling as he kisses my forehead before guiding me to the front door.

The quiet hum of the engine fills the silence of the drive, Willow purring in my lap as I stare out of the window deep in thought. Though I can't help from peeking up at them every once in a while.

Hayden sits calmly in the drivers seat, one hand holding the wheel in a lose grip as he coasts down the road. His lips tilting into a smirk every time we make eye content and I can't help but squirm.

Zane's leaned back in his seat, his legs spread out in front of him like he's satisfied, gotten exactly what he's wanted. His head tilted like he's watching the road when I see his eyes taking me in through the glass.

My stomach pinches, but not in the way I thought. There's a buzz under my skin, feeling hot and breathless as I picture all the ways these next two days could go.

Two nights, I tell myself, just two nights and then I'll be back at my dad's. But the thought of leaving after feels like a lie before I've even told it.
