Life, it is so difficult but then, it can be so simple. Difficult in as much as there is pain and disappointment in any life, but simple in how even the bleakest life can capture some rays of beauty and pleasure. No matter how disappointing or painful life is, I have always been able to find something uplifting in the midst of it all. Life's so short, yet we live it like we have forever.

By the way, I'm Anu, Anu Singh Sekhawat.
I live with my mom, dad and my elder brother, Arpit. He stays in Dubai for study purpose. But whenever I need him he is always beside me.
Best family anyone could ever ask for.

I am expecting my 12th results today, and I'm quite worried about it. I know, I wrote well in exams, but then we cannot trust the examiners, can we? Let's hope for the best.
"Come on Anu, let me know your unique ID, so that we can get your results." My brother asked.
"1110056-00567. Ohh God please, make sure I don't fail." I prayed to God. Though I am totally q committed Atheist. But it's okay to bribe our dearest God sometimes.
Everybody's eyes were glued on the laptop screen, as if a hungry lion is staring at its prey.
"Woah Anu 98%." Bhai (bro) hugged me and lifted me up in happiness.
My bhai, Arpit. He is four years elder than me. He is my brother, my friend and sometimes he even behaves like a father figure to me. We almost share every little talk with each other.
"Bhai put me down please." I shouted in excitement.
"Aaj to celebration banta hai princess." He replied happily.
"Muh meetha karo sab." My mumma said bringing a plate full of barfis..
"Muh meetha to theek h but mera gift. Mene ese hi apna keemti time or apni sleep sacrifice nahi ki. Chalo ab ache papa ki tarah mera present dijiye." I glared at my dad..
"Mil jayega beta.. Aaj evening takk." Papa said, and I giggled.
Me- pakka promise.
Dad- pakka wala.
I hugged my dad.. And went into my room, to update my status on Facebook.
