every broken piece of me.
You helped me see myself
in a new light,
brought out parts of me
I never knew existed.
Your presence brings peace,
a calm I can't explain.
My chest bursts with happiness,
as I love you despite your darkness.
The ocean gap between us
doesn't matter-
each time I reach out my hand
I feel you on the other side.
"You're here,"
I whisper with a smile.
Every move I make,
each step I take,
every breath I breathe-
you're always here.
I can't escape you.
You've given me everything:
joy, longing, hope, pain-
yet somehow,
you've helped me break the chain.
I never believed this love
could exist.
But with you, I'd walk a thousand miles
just to see your lovely smile.
