My jaw tightens, his brazenness making more sense now. She told him, the little brat. That I claimed him as mine, because he is.

Reaching up, I slowly place my hand on his chest to push him back gently. He rests his hand on mine, our eyes locking in a heated stare off until he lets out a small chuckle. Turning away and dropping the towel.

I watch his toned ass as he walks to his dresser, pulling out a pair of black briefs and slipping them on. Turning only after he's concealed his hard dick.

"And I thought we could play with her a little." Reaching farther in the drawer he tosses something on the bed and I can't help but match his grin.

This girl is ours, and she will learn that soon enough. But for now, we can play with her while she tries to deny how badly she wants us too.

The heat of the fire soaks into my skin, the air suffocating me with smoke, laughter and the loud music blaring from portable speakers all around me. Packed in tight as I squeeze my knees together to make room, I'm shoved this way and that as my anxiety creep higher and higher.

I've spotted both Zane and Hayden once or twice, but it wasn't ever more than a clash of eyes through the fire.

Jade was with me for the first couple hours, but when she went off to grab another drink she didn't come straight back. I've caught glimpses of her in conversations, and making out with a couple others, so I decided to leave her alone and not be a cling on.

A couple plops down on the log next to me, making out and starting to lean into me when I shove them off and stand. Fuck this.

Wrapping my arms around myself I start to wander away from the bumping music and big crowd. Walking for some time to a tree line nearby. Red solo cups scattered across the grass, I avoid a can at the last second and trip, falling and sliding down a steep hill and almost smashing into the trees.

"Son of a bitch." I growl, shoving myself up and brushing my clothes off. Picking a few leaves from my hair and scanning the area around me. I can't climb up, so I'll need to go around the hill and find a spot to-

CRACK

All thoughts in my brain seize in an instant. My spine tingling as I turn slowly to find the source of the noise. I gasp sharply, shocked to see a man standing closer than I'd have hoped. He's tall, wearing a black pullover with the hood covering his eyes.

My eyes widen further when I realize he's in a black skull mask, his sharp jaw and neck the only thing showing. I take a step back and he tilts his head, just like the biker had. Only, this time, he holds up a long pocket knife, watching as it glints in the moonlight.

I don't waste any time, turning quickly and running hard, trying to round the hill and get back up to the bonfire. I risk a look behind me, letting out a yelp when I see he's right there.

My heart races, a different kind of thrill coursing under my skin when I hear his low growl, swiping at me and grazing the ends of my hair. Like he isn't even actually trying to catch me.

Running faster, branches whip against my arms and legs but I don't stop. Bursting through the treeline and letting out a terrified scream when strong arms wrap around me and hold me tightly before I fall.

"Woah, easy." A smooth, deep voice murmurs in my ear. The scent filling my nose calming me more than it should.

"Zane." Relief flood through me, replacing the terror and panic instantly. "Oh my god, there was someone out there. I tripped and fell down that fucking hill and he chased me!"
