...
As he expected, nothing.
None of the teachers even flinched as they began to converge upon the white-eyed teacher.
"It was worth a shot."
In that instant, he was surrounded.
"I'm sorry, everyone. I'll make sure to apologise profusely after everything's said and done..."
THWISH!
THUNK!
Several quickly fired punches and strikes attempted to make contact, but they were promptly avoided and countered.
"Sorry Mister Caveliera!"
THWIIIIING!!
THWOOOSH!!!
Several more were thrown at higher velocities and at higher frequencies, but none made contact.
"Forgive me, Miss Kilo!"
THWACK!
A claw nearly scratched his face, but the arm connected was caught and redirected elsewhere.
"Sorry... uh, I don't remember your name..."
FWOOSH!
This song and dance continued for a little while. Mister Holmes managed to duck and dodge most, if not all, of the attacks the other teachers attempted to inflict upon him with. While it was by no means easy to do so, he admitted that he was beginning to warm back up after he thought he had lost most of his capabilities a number of years ago.
After what his father put him through, he supposed that it wasn't surprising.
These were no regular people, however-these demi-humans boasted incredible speed, durability, and strength that eclipsed normal humans by at least several magnitudes, which was why there even existed a special type of division in Canada for such potential threats, but the English teacher knew what to do, and how to do it.
Although, to him, it was slightly disappointed that he was forced to show off now-ideally, he would have gone through his entire teaching career here without anyone ever finding about what he could do, but he had no choice; people's lives were at the mercy of this Alice. For what reason, he was unsure of completely. From pointless death and destruction to simply her being hungry, the possibilities were nigh-on limitless.
Eventually, all of the teachers were aptly knocked out with special emphasis on temporary unconsciousness. Wiping the sweat that had built on his forehead, he turned his attention to the completely-in-awe students, who had witnessed the entire scene unfold. "Alright, hello! You know me-it's your English teacher! Don't, uh... don't mind what just happened, but I would implore you all to quickly, and promptly, exit out of the school through the emergency exit over there by the window and wait until the police arrives."
"Did he just... I'm dreaming."
"What the hell did I just witness?"
"Did he really do that? No, no way... what?"
"Guy knocked out our GYM TEACHER. Mister Spotz. That's literally not possible."
"Isn't he, like, the strongest teacher at our school?"
"Nah, nah, that'd be, like, Miss Thavel or Mister Maus, or something like that."
"Miss Circle is up there, too."
"Hey, hey, listen up-you all heard Mister Holmes; the teachers were mind controlled, right? By Alice! That'd explain everything."
"Ohh, that makes a lot more sense."
