Chapter 2

Andy's POV

A week had passed by. I talked a lot more with Zack, but he still doesn't know about what happens at home...ill never let him know. My dad recovered about a day or two ago and he started beating me again. I can never get a break from him. 

I wake up in the morning to shouting from the living room. I decide to ignore it and just get dressed. I throw on a black veil brides T-shirt, then I put on a pair of black skinny jeans and a leather jacket. Today I'm supposed to hang out with Zack after school. I smile, grab my backpack, then walk out of the room to see my mom crying as I hear a car drive off.

"What happened now?" I ask my mom

She looks up at me "just get your ass to school and leave me the fuck alone" she says then I smile and walk out.

I walk to the school and see Zack leaning against the school, looking down. Once I see him a huge smile appears on my face as I walk towards him. A  blonde girl walks over to him and kisses his cheek as he looks at her and smile, then I take a step back. Maybe its just his best friend. I look at them as he puts his hands on her waist, pulling her close to him, and kisses her. I bite my lower lip and look away. I decide to go inside and walk to my locker.

After a while it was time for first period, so I walked to my class and sat in my usual seat as Luke sat next to me "hey....you okay? You look sad" Luke says as I look down at my desk "I feel sad" I say quietly so he couldn't hear and he just looks at the bored.

After an hour the bell rang for second period, so I got up and went to that class, sitting in the back left corner. I look up and see Zack walking into the class with a smile as I look down.

Zack's POV

I see Andy and smile as she looks back down. I get confused, then sit next to her "hey, you okay?" I ask as she ignores me. Shit ....did she see me with Jasmin? I start to panic a bit in my mind "Andy can you at least say something to me?" I say as she looks at me "something" she says coldly then looks back down "is this about Jasmin?" I ask as she glares at me "You mean the blonde you kissed? Um yea, this is most definitely what this is about" she says

"But we aren't even dating, why would you care?" I ask

"Wow....are you really that stupid? Or just too blind to see it?" She asks

I roll my eyes "see what?" I ask

"That I fucking like you! Damn....you know what....just forget it....I have class work I need to do" she says then looks at the bored

School ends many hours later and Andy still hasn't talked to me. I guess that means our plans are canceled...damn...I really fucked up on this one. I walk to my house and once I enter my little brother runs up to me and hugs my legs "I missed you!" He says as I smile "I missed you too....now where's dad?" I ask as my brother pulls away and points to my fathers office. I ruffle his hair "now go tell mom I'll be in the kitchen to help her cook in a minute" I say as he nods and runs to the kitchen and I run into my dads office.

He looks up at me and stops what he's doing "so...how are you and Jasmin?" He asks

"Um...we're great...but dad I think that I don't want to be with Jasmin" I say

He looks at me with a serious face "son...her family has tons of money, think about it...you two will be the richest couple with her parents money and our money"

I sigh and sit down in one of his chair "but I don't want to be with someone for their money...I want to be with someone I love" I say thinking of Andy

"Okay...well who is this person you love? Who would you leave Jasmin for?" He asks

"Well...her name is Andy" I say as he pulls out a file

"Andy parker correct?" He asks as I nod "hmm, it says here that her dad is an alcoholic and recently got into a car crash....do you really want to be involved with that?" He asks

"Its not like I'm going to be dating her father"I say laughing a bit as his face remains serious and I clear my throat "yes...I want to be with her...she's amazing...I've never met anyone like her. She's unique" I say with a smile as he shakes his head

"She will not do, you stay with Jasmin.... Its in your best interest...trust me" he says and I sigh

"What ever" I say getting up, walking out, and going to the kitchen to help my mom with dinner

Andy's POV

I lay on the floor crying as my dad walks out of the room and leaves me there. What else could go wrong? I get up and lay on my bed, skipping dinner once again and going straight to bed.
