Quick to send the text off Andrea stood from the table she sat on, pocketing her phone as she informed "Derek stole Peter's phone and decided it would be a good idea to text me. It made absolutely no sense seeing as Derek hardly knows how to use a phone, I thought it may have been an emergency so I went to Peter's apartment, only for Derek to tell me that he was bored and that was his reasoning for messaging me."
The released chuckles, aware of Derek's antics as Harper shuffled closer to her mother, arms quick to wrap around her "Sounds about right." Allison mused.
"Yeah. Derek then proceeded to interrogate me about my suspicious regarding the alpha, then I got scolded and called disrespectful when I admitted that my main suspect is Damien. Apparently it's not okay to voice my suspicions because of him allegedly being in a coma." Andrea's chest released a scoff, shuffling through her bag before whirling to face Harper, papers clutched in hand "Here. You left you're homework at your dads."
"Thank you." Harper accepted with a thankful smile, briefly shooting Allison an expression that read; "I told you so." which made the elder girl roll her eyes fondly. "I personally don't see the problem with placing the blame onto Damien, he's completely insane. It's not completely irrational to assume he's the alpha."
"That's exactly what I said, but apparently not only is it rude of me to accuse him of such a thing, it's also impossible due to him being in a coma." She huffed, throwing her bag back over her shoulder as the three moved towards the school.
"How can we be certain he isn't awake and simply pretending to still be comatose?" Allison suggested lightly, having witnessed first hand the man's cruelty and need to manipulate those around him "This is Damien were speaking of."
"This is exactly the point i'm trying to make." Andrea's hands extended in exasperation, rolling her doe eyes as she peeled the doors open "But Derek still believes me and Peter to be the crazy ones."
"I love him, but Derek can be an oblivious idiot at times. He'll come around eventually, he always does, and if he doesn't then you get to say "I told you so" when the truth is revealed." Harper offered words of comfort, an amused smile stretched her lips as she continued "You know how much Der despises when he's wrong."
"Changing the subject slightly, do you know what happened to the bus driver last night?" Allison inquired curiously. News of the crimson tainted, damaged bus had spread quickly throughout the town. Rumours spread, theories shared of both the victims involvement and who the killer was. The most human's that lived scattered throughout Beacon Hills remained unaware of the true beast that lurked within the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike it's next victim.
"Nothing, besides the attacker being the alpha. Though, the victims name seems vaguely familiar I just can't place why."
"What's his name?" Harper questioned.
"Garrison Meyers." Andrea uttered absentmindedly, brows pinched as she tried to recall where she had heard the name before. Harper's face fell, eyes haunted as memories engulfed her mind "Bunny?" Andrea wore a frown, gently placing a hand on her daughters shoulder as the three came to a halt, the eldest two Argent's expressions splashed with concern for the youngest "What is it?"
Harper hesitated for a moment, fingers absentmindedly toying with the zipper on her leather jacket "Mom-" clearing her throat when her voice cracked, she continued hesitantly though her mind remained in the home consumed by fire, smoke and soot swirling in her lungs like poison as her parents screams of her name echoed "Garrison Meyers was the insurance investigator for the fire. He knowingly ruled the fire an accident despite knowing it was arson."
"How do you know that?" Andrea's eyebrows stood raised, the words tumbling after she had digested the revealed facts, recalling the name so clearly now "Me and your dad certainly never would have told you."
