Chapter Two: Second Chance At First Line ━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The child slid the window open, allowing her best friend entry. The small boy struggled to pull himself through the window, he briefly gestured to the ground behind him "It's down there."
"Did your parent's catch you?" Andrea's eyebrows stood raised as she leant forth, hand rose as purple glowed around her hand, lifting the object into the room. Peter was quick to grasp the item when close enough, helping to tug it into the room.
Peter's head whirled, an incredulous look falling upon his features as his body remained turned towards the cage that rested by their feet "If they did do you believe I would be standing here at this moment?"
"Fair enough." Andrea hummed after a moment, tugging at the sleeve of her pyjama shirt "Did Laur ask many questions over asking for her help to steal the dog cage."
"No, though she did offer me the strangest look. I believe she thinks i'm mental." Peter informed, little arms helping to slid onto the bed "I am now indebted to her for a month."
"Sound about right." Andrea's eyebrows furrowed, eyes trained upon the cage "And why do you have a dog cage again? It's not as though we can have one seeing as they go crazy within our presence."
"One of Damien's drunken purchases that my parent's simply put within the cupboard and forgot about." Peter informed, shoulder's lifting a sign he wishes to drop the topic of his family.
Andrea peeled open her draw, grasping the object before lifting it within the air for his eyes to see. The fishing net was twirled between her fingers, proud smile falling upon her lips.
"You managed to get it." Peter leant forth, eyes twinkling as his eyes fell to the item.
"Yeah," Andrea tucked the net beneath her pillow, climbing onto the bed besides the boy "I pinched it when my father was taking a call from my grandma."
"We're geniuses." Peter uttered after silenced consumed them, hand lifted for a high five.
"Yes, we are." Andrea agreed, hand colliding with the boy's own. After a while of silence her doe eyes flickered to the clock, quick to urge the Hale towards the closet "Hurry, it's almost time."
Peter lifted the cage as best as possible, toothy grin never fading as Andrea closed the door behind him. Andrea was quick to slip back into bed, tucking the duvet to her shoulder's as she allowed her eyes to close.
The girl fought to supress a smile at the creaking of the door a little while later, quiet noises approached her bed. Andrea's finger's curled around the net, sensing the presence above her she was quick to move, flicking her wrist she forced the net over their face and gave a tug, thud echoing as the man fell to his knees in surprise. Peter sprung from the closet, forcing the cage over their head, accomplished smiles dimming as they met Chris Argent's startled expression.
