"You said it yourself Der, it's been six years, he should have healed by now, or at least began healing. Don't you find it extremely coincidental that Laura received pictures of a dead deer with a spiral carved into it- our sign for vendetta, need I remind you- then she's killed the night of a full moon and the only other things that could potentially lead us to the beast who killed her are a drawing and name?" Andrea's hand slid down her face in exasperation as she defended her feelings for what felt like the millionth time "The drawing in which is a necklace that I already informed you belongs to Kate. And the name of my chemistry teacher, and all of us are aware of his involvement in the fire. It all leads back to the fire, every lose end, every lead- it all falls back to that haunting night when flames engulfed the house. The only survivors from that night are me, Harper, Peter and Damien. I'm positive it isn't one of us three going on a rampage, which only leaves one option. Damien."
"Okay, whatever." Derek dismissed upon realising the two weren't going to see eye to eye on their different views of the current dilemma "But i'm still failing to understand why the alpha would kill the bus driver."
"I'm working on that. His name seems vaguely familiar, I simply can't place why." She informed the two, eyes falling closed when the tips of Peter's fingers traced her spine after he manoeuvre them slightly.
Derek hummed softly, lips tilted as he remarked dryly "Right, get back to me when you have the answers."
"Why won't he ever simply listen to what I tell him?" Andrea inquired as she shifted in Peter's arms, lifting her head from his chest to meet his amused gaze. Chocolate eyes locked with ocean then and for the briefest of moments Andrea swore the world stilled. Unable to look away, she swallowed dryly as the man removed the hand tangled in her brunette strands and attentively allowed his thumb to brush along her cheekbone with a feather light touch that left Andrea feeling slightly dazed.
"I have no idea." Peter murmured breathlessly, mind fuzzy and unable to think through the fog that clouded him as he lost himself in the dark orbs. Andrea's stare pinned him in place, unable to move, unable to glance away- unable to breath. A mere glimmer of her attention and Peter found himself turn into a brainless fool, willing to fall to his knees and do anything for her to keep looking at him like that.
His breath hitched and dread pooled in the pit of his stomach as Andrea spoke, barely audible above the thudding from both of their hearts "I should probably go. I've got to get to school, unfortunately."
"Right." Peter accepted, albeit reluctantly. His brows furrowed when Andrea made no effort to remove herself from his embrace despite her words. Eyebrows lifting Peter patiently awaited an explanation until he followed her gaze and realised his fingers were unknowingly twirling her brunette curls, fingers digging into her hip after his grip had unconsciously tightened in an attempt to keep her to himself for just a moment longer "Oh, right."
Finally releasing her, Andrea rose to her feet and grasped her bag, carelessly throwing it over her shoulder which made Peter's lips quirk as he momentarily recalled when they were in high school and she supported the same attitude when concerning the place she deemed 'Hell on Earth that subjects minors to different forms of mental torture.' "I'll see the both of you later." Whirling to face Peter, she leant ever-so-slightly closer, her scent immediately invading his senses "Try and knock some sense into him please?"
"I will." He assured softly, smile splitting his face when she leant down, her glossed lips pressing to his cheek. A giggle escaped her when she left a mark, though she made no effort to remove it, simply turning to Derek and ruffling his dark strands before shuffling to the exit and rather reluctantly leaving the comfort of Peter's apartment.

"Hey, where did you disappear to this morning?" Andrea's head lifted from the device clutched in her hands, lips lifting when her eyes fell to Allison and Harper who were rapidly approaching.
