✨Unexpected Roommates✨
Cookie and River, two best friends, excitedly move into their dream house, unaware that it has been sold to another group-Seonghwa, Hongjoong, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. As the two groups nav...
Cookie's POV Right now, River and I just pulled up to our new home, and it looks amazing! The exterior is a beautiful blend of modern architecture mixed with a touch of rustic charm, and I can’t help but smile at our luck.
“I can’t believe we got this place so cheap!!!” I exclaimed, practically bouncing in my seat.
I glanced over at River, who was giggling uncontrollably. Her excitement is contagious.
“Me too, Unnie!!! It’s so big!!! Just like your boobies!!! I could run around the whole house!!!” she said, her laughter ringing through the air.
I shook my head, trying to suppress my laughter. “Child, keep my boobies out of this!!! And you can’t just run around everywhere and get lost!!!”
“But you can’t stop me, Unnie!!! I’m an adult now!!!” She puffed out her chest defiantly, striking a cute power pose.
I rolled my eyes dramatically. “Well, if you keep this up, I might just stop making your favorite cake.”
Her eyes widened, and she looked at me as if I’d just declared world war. “W-W-What??? Nooo!!!”
I couldn’t help but smirk at her horror. “Try me, kid. I’m not afraid to let that cake go!!!”
She huffed, putting her hands on her hips. “Sorry, Ma’am…” she mumbled, clearly defeated.
“Alright then!!!” I said, giving her a playful nudge as we headed toward the front door.
As we stepped inside, I was immediately struck by how spacious it was. The high ceilings and large windows made it feel even bigger, filled with light. But then I noticed something odd—there were boxes and furniture scattered around, as if someone had just moved in but hadn’t finished unpacking.
“Unnie???” River whispered, tightening her grip on my arm as her eyes darted around the room.
I nodded, a little uneasy. “I see it too… This isn’t right…”
“H-Hello???” she called out hesitantly, her voice a mix of curiosity and concern.
Just then, I heard rushing footsteps. River ducked behind me, peeking out from my side. A moment later, eight guys burst into the room, wielding random items that could definitely double as weapons—a hockey stick, baseball bat, and even what looked like a sword.
“What are y’all doing in our house???” I demanded, stepping forward to confront them, my heart racing but my voice steady.
“Your house??? This is OUR house!!!” one of the guys snapped back, his brow furrowing in disbelief.
I held up the key I’d been given. “I think not!!! We paid to live here!!! These are our keys!!!” My heart raced, but I was determined to stand my ground.
“So do we!!!” they shouted in unison, each of them holding up their own set of keys, leaving me completely flabbergasted.
“Wait… how did this happen???” I asked, feeling a wave of confusion wash over me.
“No idea…” one of them admitted, scratching his head in perplexity.
“Who are you all, anyway???” I pressed, trying to gather more information.
“I’m Seonghwa. These are Hongjoong, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. And you both are???” he asked, his tone shifting to a friendlier one.
“I’m Cookie, and that’s River,” I introduced, gesturing to her. She timidly waved from behind me, still clinging to my arm.
“Nice to meet you both…” Seonghwa said, his smile warm and inviting.
“But I don’t understand how this happened,” I said, my brows furrowing as I tried to make sense of the situation.
“Neither can we… Maybe that’s why it was so cheap, right???” Hongjoong chimed in, sharing a knowing look with the others.
“That’s true…” I murmured, considering the chaos of home-sharing.
“Roommates???” River chimed in, her eyes sparkling with curiosity and mischief.
“Looks like it...” Yunho replied with an amused grin.
I sighed, exchanging glances with River. “We don’t have any more money, so I guess we have to, Bubba…”
She nodded enthusiastically and faced the guys again. “Well, um… I guess we should get to know each other since we’re living together now…”
Jongho raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in his eyes. “How about a good old-fashioned game of truth or dare to kick things off???”
The suggestion hung in the air, and we all exchanged glances, bursting into smiles. This could be a lot of fun!
“Count me in!!!” River exclaimed, her excitement palpable.
“Alright, but I warn you, I can be pretty daring,” I joked, trying to lighten the mood further.
The guys laughed, and I could feel the initial tension in the room melting away.
“Okay, I guess I’ll start,” Hongjoong said, looking around the group. “Truth or dare???”
River squealed, ready for the game to begin. I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through me. Who knew moving in with strangers could turn into something so fun???
