Former sergeant in UAE special forces; suspended after an ambush that killed his 3 closest comrades

Carries guilt, survivor’s anger; rough, hard-edged, deeply protective

Falls for Zara at first sight — his obsession is quiet, fierce, and purely for her safety

Knows violence better than peace; keeps a promise to bring Zara back untouched until she’s old enough to choose

After marriage, still dangerous to the world, but soft, almost tender with her

Becomes both her shield and her home

Malik Al Fayeed

Zara’s father; respected mafia boss in the UAE

Known as a “good” mafia: never kills innocents, maintains order, protects his community

Deeply protective, loves his daughter above all else

At first overprotective (keeps her guarded, limits her freedom) — but in the end, allows her to choose her path

Accepts Khalid after seeing he kept his word and returned Zara unharmed

Yasin Al‑Qadi (Antagonist)

Former associate turned traitor

Responsible for orchestrating the ambush that killed Khalid’s comrades

Later tries to capture Zara as leverage against Malik

Killed by Khalid in an act of revenge and justice
