Wait a while

~ EIGHTY TWO ~

"C'mon Reese" I said slowly helping her out of the window. Somehow it was quite a quick process. She grabbed onto the window ledge and slowly went to Finneas' shoulders once I got off them which he then lowered down to help her get off easier.

"I've missed you so much Billie" she said hugging me so tight to the point that if she lets go she might think that it's a dream. "C'mon love let's get you out of here" I said grabbing a hold of her hand. As soon as our hands touched her fingers interlocked with mine without any hesitation.

As soon as we began walking a noise of a car was coming from the distance. It must be Ashley. I pulled both Reese, Claudia and Finn into the forestry behind us as we watch her go into the house. As we heard the door slam, I whispered to them "run".

We all started running as fast and quiet as we could. I mean she has a car but our car should be about 5 minutes away.

We carried on running but there's been no sounds behind us. No one running, No cars. Well that was until a loud bang.

*bang* The noise echoed through the forest, just as we were about to let our guard down the noise made us run even faster.

As the adrenaline took over, there was another one *Bang**Bang**Bang*. I looked over to Reese and every time the noise went off she jumped. I grabbed her hand tighter and started to run a little faster once I saw our car.

Claudia pulled the keys out of her handbag and unlocked the door as we were running up to it. I went to open the car door when I noticed something "Guys keep running, it's a trap" We kept running faster and faster until finally we got to the main road. No one had caught up with us, the bangs have stopped and we are now walking on the sidewalk blending in with everyone around us.

"Why couldn't we just use the car Bil? My legs are tired" Finn moaned. Luckily for him we are a 3 minute walk from my moms. "Because... both tires on the left side had been slashed. If Ashley or something was chasing us that would have given more time to catch up" I explained and for once I was quite proud of myself. I mean I know I'm not some genius but for once I actually used my brain and it paid off.

Finally we got to my mom's. I unlocked the door and walked in followed by Finn, Reese and then Claudia. "Mom?" I called out and she responded from in the kitchen.

"Can we have the Tofu noodle soup that you make?" I asked and she had a sad look on her face. "You're really missing Reese, huh Bil" I nodded and smiled before looking at the doorway to see Reese waiting there smiling at Maggie.

Luckily she was holding a wooden spoon because she dropped the spoon making it land on the floor before bringing her into a hug "OMG, I never thought I would be seeing you again" she said hugging her tighter and tighter.

"I've missed you too mags" She said hugging her back.

Just as I was about to interrupt someone did for me "Mama!" Klara yelled jumping on to Reese leg and not letting go.

"Hi princess" she said pulling out of the hug and picking her up now hugging Klara.

After we had all been reunited, we spent the rest of the day spending time together. Obviously we had the Tofu soup. Which I have to say somehow gets better every time she makes it.

After both me and Reese put Klara to bed we headed to my room. Since Finn and Claudia was over they took his old room meaning Reese would either have to sleep with me or sleep on the couch. Luckily she didn't make a fight.

I opened the door and she smiled. Of course the red LEDs are on. "Your room hasn't changed a bit" she said walking around the room admiring everything before jumping on the bed.

I grabbed my PJs and passed her some before heading into the bathroom to get changed. I walked in to see her looking at this teddy. We called him Gerald, No idea why, but we got him on one of our first dates. Obviously I've kept him ever since but since Reese has been missing I've hugged him every night which helped.

"You can hug him tonight" I said and she jumped looking up at me before a smile appeared on her face. "I would rather cuddle with my rescuer" she said grabbing my hand, pulling me down on the bed before lying her head on my chest. "Goodnight Bil"

"Goodnight Reese, sleep well for me"
