~ FIVE ~

As i slow down i instantly put my hand on my belt getting my grasp on the tube of pepper spray while trying to catch my breath. Walking up to the car I still don't recognise it. Like at all. I can see 2 people in the front and 1 in the back. If the worst comes to worst I can just run.​

I decide yknow I'm just going to jog pass it and just carry on heading to the spot but as I passed by i recognised a voice.​

"Yo Reese"​

I look back and see billie running to catch up with me. However she looked out of breath and struggling.​

"My friends. Picked me up, You can just come with us.If you want"​ She said taking a deep breath after an every couple of words.

"Aight sounds cool"​

Walking back to the car it's silent until she speaks up​

"Res can you do me a favour"​

"Yeah of course Bil anything"​

"I Umm I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend while around my friends my ex is here and I want to make him see that I've moved on"​

Instantly I can feel the speed of my heart beating like 4 times faster. I like billie. Like I mean I have since I met her. The way she looked at me just ugh. Anywayyy.​

"I don't know Bil it-"​

"Please Reese I'm begging you"​

You know what why am I fighting. It's not like I haven't thought about being her girlfriend before. I don't say anything but I grab her hand telling her.​

We get to the car and billie gets in first and then me in the back. I sit down putting my belt on and put my hand on her thigh. Before you say i mouthed if I could. Consent. Very important.​

So it's been a couple of hours now and we are currently at a party. I'm sitting on a sofa surrounded by bils friends with her on my lap drunk.​

When we got here she instantly went into the kitchen and got multiple drinks giving me one. I'm not gonna lie but today I realised how real gay panic is. Like the way she has her hand around me and every now and then she puts her face into me neck.​

Yes she's 16 and technically it's illegal for her to be drinking but I couldn't stop her. Plus I've been drinking since the ripe age of 12. What it's a British legacy. I'm not an alcoholic.​

"Reese I need to peee" billie yells into my ear slurring her words.​

"Alright babe I'll come help you" I stand up helping her walk to the bathroom making sure she doesn't fall.​

On the way back someone catches my eye. I don't know them but the vibe is really strong. Like I'm talking about suspicious vibes. I make sure she's sat on my lap comfortably. I'm not taking my sight off her the rest of the night.​

She's been having fun. Joking, flirting, laughing but I can't help being tense. I feel like someone is constantly watching us and I don't know what to do.​

Like yeah obviously I will be willing to put my life on the line as long as billie is safe but what if it happens when I least expect it. When I'm sleeping or when I'm in the bathroom.​

"Babe? I've been calling you"​

"Sorry, It's really loud all of a sudden"​

"He's here" billie whispered into my ear "can I kiss you"​

"Uh sure" I say thinking it will be a peck but no it turns more and more heated.​

Billie climbs into my lap and start creating friction the longer the kiss is lasting. This really isn't helping the situation of me liking her.​

A couple of people come over talking to the group but I don't see faces. After a while we breakaway breathing heavily. Her lips all puffy. We don't say a word she leans on my shoulder lightly kissing my neck.​

This girl is going to get me into trouble I swear.​

"You wanna go home love?" I ask​

"Hmm"​

"Ill carry to the uber alright"​

After saying goodbye to everyone we've been hanging around with as soon as i leave with billie bridal style in my arms like it was scripted the uber pulled up ready to drive us home.​

We get to bils house and i let myself in with my own key. Carrying her and putting her to bed throwing the blanket over her. Luckily she was wearing in comfy clothes so i didnt have to worry about waking her up to get changed.​

Just as i was leaving my name was called​

"Reese"​

"Yeah bil" i say walking back over to her in an attempt to make her lower her voice but it doesnt work.​

"Can you stay please" she asks attaching herself to my arm.​

"Of course bil ill be back now one second"​

I run down stairs and get tyenol and water for when she wakes up and put it on the bedside table.​

Getting in the bed next to her. Her arms attach around my waist making sure i dont move. Is this what heaven is life because if so it feels good. Leaving that being that last thought of the night.​

Everyone is asleep but that doesnt mean that there is no noise in the house.​
