"Because Cyn was merely a pawn."
The purple drone blinked.
"What do you mean?"
"Cyn was never the true enemy. She was a loyal servant to the one who gifted her control of an extension of the Solver by her master, the original host. The Prime who started everything."
Uzi froze in place, her eyes hollowed, CPU glitching the moment her audio receptors picked up that single phrase: Prime.
"... What..?"
Optimus took a deep breath, briefly closing his optics before looking back at the worker in front of him.
"I do not have enough time to explain it's true origins. But I must tell you the truth of what you saw before you passed out. The reason your core is replaced by a cybertronian spark."
Uzi was about to ask what he was talking about before she suddenly remembered the glowing orb inside her chest.
"You see, Uzi, there is an ancient ritual that is forbidden to us Primes. A ritual that allows us to return to the mortal realm at the cost of permanently becoming one with any living being with no means of reversing it. After what Rampage did to you down at the labs, I knew it was the only way to save you." Optimus explained to her the best he could, only receiving an confused and unconvinced expression on the worker's face.
"Save me? I don't understand. Rampage didn't do any-"
-------------------------------------------------------------
Rampage skewers Uzi right through the chest.
N screams her name as she was discarded and left to die.
Her crawling desperately, looking for any way to live before she played down to succumb to the fatal wound.
The spirit of the red and blue Autobot kneeling down with his servo held out to her. The spirit of the Prime.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Uzi cries with her eyes hollowed in panic, falling to her knees as her hand clutched her chest tightly, her breathing fast and unsteady as the memories of what happened down at the labs suddenly flooding back to her.
Still clutching her chest, Uzi slowly looks back up at the Prime. The Autobot who saved her. Who fused his life force with her. Who became part of her.
"What... Am I?"
Optimus slowly kneels down and gives her an apologetic look.
"You are right to ask, Uzi. But, I am afraid I do not possess the answer. You are not a cybertronian, yet you are not a Solver drone either." Optimus admitted to her shamefully, placing his servo on her shoulder.
"When we merged, your memories, your personality, everything that makes you who you are were absorbed into my spark because your core was beyond saving. It was incinerated so it could be replaced by our now shared life force."
Uzi released her chest, allowing it to limply fall to her sides as Optimus explained this.
"... Shockwave said that a spark it is the cybertronian equivalent of a soul. And souls has memories of the life it lived. Those three humans I keep seeing in my visions, every human I see in my dreams... They were your memories. Weren't they?"
Optimus Nodded in response.
"But, there's still something there's one thing I don't get; Why? As in... Why would you save me, despite knowing full damn well what it'll cost you?" Uzi finally asked him.
