Absolute Truth Part 1: Aftermath of Trypticon

"But not as constant as Starscream's." Shockwave joked, prompting Grimlock to laugh.

"Don't remind me. Not only that, but his voice is annoying as all the Pit. I mean, I've only met him once and I've already decided that his voice was the most annoying thing I've had the displeasure of hearing in my entire life and still is. If there was a yearly award for the most annoying thing is the universe, Starscream would win every single one of them by a landslide."

The two laughed at this discussion for a bit before Grimlock turns back to Shockwave, fully serious.

"Listen, Shockwave... I hate you, but I'm willing to tolerate you and join your team. For N's sake. Besides, from what else N told me about Starscream and Tarantulas, you guys could really use a Dinobot." He told him, taking a sip of his energon cube. Shockwave nodded.

"I see. Well then, allow me to welcome you to the Murder Drones, Grimlock."  Shockwave said in welcome.

Meanwhile, standing at the window, sticking his head through it, and eavesdropping on the conversation with a smile was N. He was happy to hear the two had finally found common ground and are both willing to set aside their differences.

N retracts his head from the window to join up with everyone else, unaware that one of Kickback's surveillance droids was crawling up the wall and entering an air vent.

Shockwave and Grimlock had re-entered the building a few minutes later, noticing that Uzi had just finished setting the coordinates Optimus provided for her with Soundwave's help.

"Ok... Once I set the command, we'll know exactly where we need to go to figure out the mystery of the Absolute Solver. Are you guys ready?" Uzi explained to everyone.

The other Murder Drones, along with Soundwave and Doll, nodded in response. Uzi looks back at the console and hit the command key, causing a chain reaction of radio telescope dishes changing their direction, aiming at a certain part of the sky. And before long, the console showed the image of where the coordinates lead to.

It was a space station that which size was equal to that of the Death Star from Star Wars, a space station that left J's eyes to hollow in recognition.

"That space station... That's the very heart of JcJenson itself: Jenson City..." J breathed in shock.

"The station Cyn made herself at home in before coming to Copper-9." V added with her arms crossed.

"Jenson City? That's a dumb name." Brawl commented at the name with a scoff.

"What the station is called isn't important, Brawl. What's important is that we have located the answers we seek." Shockwave told the Combatidrone.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's fix up that drop pod in the spire so we could find said answers." Grimlock suggested before Uzi spoke up.

"Woah, woah, woah. We can't just waltz over there just yet. What about the colony? Who would take charge of its safety while we're gone?" Uzi inquired, reminding everyone of what threats are already present on Copper-9. Realising Uzi was right, everyone pondered what they could do to keep the colony safe while also travelling to Jenson City.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, the sound of a digital jingle of a satellite phone's ringtone was heard directly behind them. Everyone turns around to where the ringtone was coming from and saw directly behind them was Scorn, standing their with his arms crossed.

"Scorn! You're awake! But... What are you-" Uzi exclaimed in surprise.

"I followed you all here shortly after I've awakened and heard your reasoning for coming here." Scorn explained as he began to approach Uzi, only to stop halfway when he turns to Grimlock. Grimlock's optics widened in surprise, recognising the Spino Sentinel's scent to be similar to a Dinobot's, before Scorn walked up to the purple drone once more.

"Uzi, do not worry about the safety of your colony. Scowl, Battletrap and I, along with the other Sentinels, my sisters, shall take charge of Outpost-3's safety while you go on your quest to find the truth."

Uzi blinked in surprise at Scorn's offer before she nodded her head.

"T-that will be very much appreciated. Thanks, Scorn."

"I am proud to be of service to you, Uzi." Scorn stated, placing a clawed servo which he balled into a fist onto his chest while, in the vents, one of Kickback's surveillance droid left the scene with no one realising they have been recorded.

Unaware to everyone, Cyn had listened to the entire conversation from Uzi's tail and was now starting to panic.

This was bad, very bad. Not only had Uzi finally made contact with Optimus, but he told her where to find Cyn's fortress. If Uzi and her friends get to Jenson City and find out the truth, then the master would surely punish her severely.

Cyn shudders when she remembers being brutally punished by her master twice in one day, one back at the labs when she sent Rampage to kill Uzi for her which led to Optimus fusing with the purple drone and the other was after Uzi and her friends had defeated her. Cyn may not be a Grand Host (a host with complete control of other hosts through their Solvers) anymore, but the master is still able to hurt her.

Using what remaining power she had left after her defeat, she contacted her loyal cyberdrone followers, the Herald of Cyn, who were located at Jenson City that they will be having some uninvited guests.

No matter what, Cyn must NOT allow Uzi learn the truth and maybe, just maybe, stop the prophecy, one that tells the rise of a Prime who shall challenge the master, from happening. Cyn must destroy Uzi, once and for all, no matter the cost.

Her master, one of the thirteen original Primes, commands it.

AN: That's right, readers. ODAL S1 takes place on Copper-9, and now the rest of S2 shall take place in Cyn's territory. Which leaves the question:

Who are the Herald of Cyn? What is the Absolute Solver actually? Who is the Solver's original host who Cyn claims to be her master? The answer is within the next few chapters of ODAL S2. Until next time.
