"Hey..." Grimlock greeted, handing Shockwave one of the energon cubes in his servos. Shockwave looked at the cube before looking back at the Dinobot offering it to him.
"... Hey..." Shockwave greeted back unsurely, gently taking the cube before sitting down on the roof. Grimlock sat down beside him.
"So... Wonderful weather we're having." Grimlock said awkwardly, referring to the not so wonderful snowy weather.
Shockwave eyed him silently, causing the Dinobot to sigh.
"Ok, look. We both know you and I aren't exactly best buds and trust me, I'm just as uncomfortable to be around you as you are around me. But, despite that, you haven't really been the kind of guy who's known to tamper with creation and turn Bots inside out to be used as lab rats. Don't get me wrong, I hate you, I really hate you. I hate you with every fraction of my being."
"Yes, you've made that quite clear." Shockwave deadpanned in reply, slightly flexing his left arm when he did.
"But what is your point, Grimlock?"
"My point is that you've changed since the War for Cybertron. Like, a LOT." Grimlock explained, swirling the blue liquid contained within the cube in his servo.
"I... Suppose so." Shockwave nodded in agreement (sort of), looking back at his own energon cube. The two sat in silence as the cold breeze blew across the roof with snow falling from the sky. Grimlock returns his gaze towards the cycloptic cyberdrone and stared at him.

"... N told me, you know." Grimlock revealed, prompting Shockwave to turn he helm back at the him.
"About what?"
"Everything: About Cyn, the Solver, the manor, Tessa, Earth, everything that had happened before you and me finally crossed paths again." Grimlock explained, clarifying what he meant. Shockwave let out an amused hummed at this.
"That is to be expected of him. I mean, you have met N after we defeated Cyn, so of course you'd be out of the loop and needed to be brought up to speed eventually." The cyberdrone scientists mused in reply, unsurprised that N would go out his way to do this.
"Yeah, N's a good kid, but that's not the only thing he told me. He also told me the type of connection you have with him and the others and what you did for them."
Shockwave's antenna twitched as his tail swirled a bit at this.
"You treated N with more respect than he received in most of his life, helped V with her trauma, convinced J to turn on Cyn, the demon she was too afraid to rebel against, and become her sparkmate, much to my surprise, and took Uzi under your wing, after her worthless dipslag dad left her to die for the sake of his doors while her scrappy mother just abandoned her by faking her death when Uzi was just an infant, and becoming a father figure to her."
"And Brawl?" Shockwave asked which left Grimlock shrugging his shoulders.
"Well, you do consider him a friend despite his constant dumbaftery." The Dinobot mused in reply.
