I went to grab my phone back but he held it above my head. "Not so easily!" He chimed, smiling like an idiot. "Come on! I gave you three kisses. Can I have it back please?" I asked innocently, pulling a little bit of a puppy eye look. He held a finger up and walked over to one of the bodyguards, telling him something to make him nod. He dangled the phone and walked out of the door. "Asshole..." I mumbled following him out and I looked down both ends of the hallway to look for him. I saw him just turn the corner on my left. I started running down, following him as he took me through a ton of different doors and hallways. "How big is this damned house?" I asked myself, stopping and tried to gain my breath back. "Huge." I heard Drake next to me and he passed through another door. I ran out through the door and saw a huge maze. "Oh hell nahh." I yelled at him, standing just in front of the entry/exit. He smiled and ran in. "Come back!" I yelled, running in after him. I tried to follow him but he was using his vampire skills to screw me up in my tracks. I ran down different turns and found myself running in circles. I managed to get to the center, ironic enough, and saw Drake sitting on a bench. I stretched put my hand and put the other on my hip. "May I have my phone back?" I asked annoyed. He shrugged and stood, putting the phone in my hand. "Thank you." I spoke nicely, putting it back into my pocket. "I thought you were going to text your parents?" He asked smiling broadly. I shrugged. "I decided to be nice and stay a little bit longer." I sighed, sitting down onto the bench, crossing my legs and leaning back. "Who is this young lady Drake?" I looked over to the side and saw an elderly man with a tall stature. "Oh! Father! I didn't notice you." I looked to Drake and let the fear show a little. I looked down and away, folding my shaking hands in my lap. "Father, this is Mikii." Drake stood and walked over to him. "Surname?" He asked, sounding quite cranky. I knew I was doomed if Drake gave it up, but maybe he could stop his father from attacking me... Hopefully. "Smithstone." Drake's voice echoed in my head and I felt my whole body tremble. "A vampire hunter now? Who brought you here?" He sounded calm and I stood, walking over to him but kept my head down. "My father, Sir. He knows nothing of your 'secret.' And Drake dragged me here too." I added in quickly. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I flinched, looking up to see Drake. "Are you going to tell anyone of this coven?" He asked calmly as I put my head down again. "N-n-no Sir. I have a deal going on with Drake that I can live if I don't tell anyone." I spoke quietly. "Please raise your head Miss Smithstone." I lifted it and looked up at him. His face was slightly wrinkled and his eyes a piercing green, just like Drake's. His hair was mostly grey but had a little bit of brown through it here and there. "You're too pretty to be a vampire huntress. Well, it's nice to meet you Miss Smithstone." He put out a hand to shake and I did, just really timidly. "I am Bram Stroker." I looked at him in shock. THE Bram Stroker? I asked myself. "Nice to meet you, Mr Stroker." He smiled and disappeared before my eyes. "Is it me, or is he kinda scary?" I asked, looking to Drake. "He is kinda. He always does that when he meets people for the first time to get their personality. Yours being timid and a little fearful." I nodded and pulled my bang back. "You can't live life if you can't put up with a little bit of fear. Plus, your father is an elder vampire. I've only be trained to kill the newborns." I admitted, letting him take my hand and entwine our fingers. "Yes, the newborns are a menace and give us a bad name." I nodded in agreement. "Shouldn't the host be at the party?" I asked, smiling. He shrugged, pulling me closer to him. "This is the first party I've actually thrown, plus most of the people here are randoms from school." I lifted my chin and started to walk down one end of the maze. "What would you be doing Sweetheart?" He asked, jogging to catch up to me. "A pet name already? I don't even know if we're going out or not." I turned right, only to hit a dead end. "Well, it's only up to you. Do you want to date the enemy or not?" I smiled and shrugged. "I dunno. Depends if you tell me more about you and get me out of here." I walked past him and turned down the left path. "Your going the wrong way." I span on my heels and walked back to Drake. "Lead the way please." We walked down and I followed him closely. "So what do you want to know?" He asked, turning his head to look at me. "I dunno. History, original orientation and maybe were your father sits at the vampire scale." I looked up at him, letting all the curiosity sparkle in my eyes. "My father is actually nicknamed Dracula." I raised an eyebrow in doubt. "Because he is the original Dracula and he is the King of all Vampires. The newborns neglect that and go on their own opinion, getting themselves killed by you." I nodded my head and looked up at him with wide eyes. "Wait, that would mean your the Prince of all Vampires?" He nodded and smirked. "Sorry your hinney." I did a curtsy and stepped away to the side. He looked at me confused. "Prince must have all the space he wants and everything he wants." He laughed and pulled me close, wrapping his arms around me. "The Prince allows you to be close to him and the Prince wants you." I looked at him in doubt, placing my hands on his shoulders. "Is that right? Since when the Prince like the Huntress?" I asked, resting my head against his chest. "When he first set eyes on the her." He spoke back, kissing my head. "R-really?" I asked, blushing. "Yes. Now let us dance at the party, shall we?" I nodded and linked arms with him, following him into a boxed dead end. "Don't tell me you forgot how to get out of here?" I asked, turning to him. He shook his head  and smiled sickly. "Here is were I shall get a kiss from the Huntress." He backed me up against the hedge. "What if the Huntress doesn't want to kiss Prince?" I asked, my voice shaking a little as I was stuck between a wall and him. "The Prince gets what he wants, that is what you said." He leaned in closer and brushed his lips against mine. I turned my head to avoid his lips but they pressed onto my neck. "No." I said firmly, trying to cover up my fear. Drake's arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer. "You have quite a dirty mind for someone whom appears to be my age." I pushed him off and blocked off the exit to him. "But I am only your age." He looked up at me through his bang. "Uh huh. I'll believe that. Can you take me back to the party please?" I asked, hoping it would be the final time. "Sure." He linked my arm with his before he lead me out of the maze. "Thank you." I huffed after we got back into the ballroom. I pulled out my phone and looked at the time. 3:45 pm. I put it back and joined Drake on the chairs, where a few couples were making out. "Wanna join them?" He asked, moving his head in there direction. "Sorry your hinny, but no." I crossed my legs and watched all the people dance to 'you've been to the butcher' by Deftones, failing miserably. "A dance then?" He asked, looking at me looking at the crowd. "If you keep bugging me, I'm going home." I turned my head and looked at him. "Plus, your only trying to get close to my scent." I looked at him as he opened his mouth to say something back but closed it again. "Exactly. I have you all figured out now." I smiled and turned back to the crowd. 'All I know' by Karnivool came on and a blonde boy walked out of the crowd and up to us. "Can I please have a dance?" He offered his hand down to me and I took it, smiling. I got up and looked back to Drake, who's mouth was a gape. I stuck my tongue out and winked, turning back to the blonde fella that asked me for a dance. "Are you going out with him?" He asked as I shifted my feet and swade with the music. "Why would you want to know?" I asked, spinning around and started head banging a little. "Maybe I'm a little jealous that a vampire can get so close to a hunter without them killing each other." I stopped and looked at him wide eyes. "Since when did you know the existence of vampires?" I asked, leaning in close to him. "Since I am one myself." He showed a cheeky grin with little fangs. "So tell me, did you happen to bring any stakes with you?" I backed away and started to run to the chairs. "Drake!" I yelled out, looking for him but not seeing him. "He's gone Honey, leaving me to drain you dry." He whispered into my ear sickly. I looked over to one of the tables, stealing a cheese knife and running out the double doors. I hid the knife against my arm and walked down the hallway, checking behind me for Drake or the new vampire. I ran out the front doors and pulled out my phones, calling my Dad quickly. "Hello?"
