Veronicas POV

I went to my office and called my neighboring pack and told the alpha there, Mark, about my rouge attack and warned them to keep a look out for rouges on there territory. My door opened and I saw Matthew and a guard. I nodded telling the guard he could leave and then motioned to Matthew to sit down. I ended the call and went and sat next to him, "please don't hurt me" I heard him think

"I wont hurt you i promise "I said he looked confused and waited for me to explain.

"ok so.. The things you saw earlier were real..we are werewolves, this is my pack and Im alpha.. We wont hurt you" i said

"..okay.. Why did you bring me here... ?" he asked.

"..because you are very special and important to me..and the pack" i said

"important? How? What do you mean? " he asked

"well.. Every werewolf has a mate.. That the moon goddess ,our god and creator, has chosen for us, when we turn 16 we are able to find our mate..although it is rare to find them that day or year.. I have been waiting and looking for 2 years.. I was about to give up.. But I found you and Im so happy.. " i explained

"can you go into more detail.. Of a.. mate?" he asked

" well.. A mate is a werewolfs soul mate, they need eachother, if they abandon eachother or one dies the other does too. Um.. When you find your mate they are highly possessive over eachother, especially alphas.. Like myself. When you find your mate.. They normally mark and mate eachother immediately.. But.. I want to make sure you are ready for that before doing so. When you are marked you will instantly become alpha, get most of the mate bond completed and you will be connected with the pack." i said

" um mark? Mate? Mate bond? Connected? " he asked

" marking is where.. I bite your neck giving you my mark and claiming you as mine and vise versa, mating... Is... Well.. Making love.., the mate bond has already started.. We will become extremely attracted to eachother and never want to be away from eachother and we can mindlink, talk through our minds,the connection will be when you can mindlink the whole pack and they will instantly recognize you as alpha. " i explained more

" ok.. Um.. Im gonna go upstairs and lay down.. I feel tired " he said

" yeah thats a good idea.. Youve had Alot of stuff happen today.. I'll join you in a while" i said.

He left and I finished my paperwork and went for a short run but mind linked Ethan to go and check on Matthew then shifted and started running into the woods
