Ethans POV

When I woke up Veronica mind linked me saying that me and David are going to watch and protect Matthew. We went downstairs and guarded the door. I heard Matthew running downstairs and he looked at us and I asked "where are you going matt? "

"Im looking for Veronica, do you know where she is? " he asked

"She is at the training arena but told us that you should stay in the house unless we are with you" David said

"why do you have to be with me? " he asked

" so you don't uh.. get lost, or hurt" I said

"um okay? Well I want to go and talk to Veronica " he said

" Okay well let's go! "I said excited

We started walking towards the training arena, and as we walked in took a look at the surroundings I saw a lot of people Bowinh their heads at Matthew when they made eye contact." Why are they bowing their heads at me? " he asked

" because you are new so we are showing respect" I said almost as a question

"uh.. Oh look we're here " David said quickly

" I'll show you to Veronica " I said

" Okay.. " he said

We walked in and found Veronica immediately, she was sparring with a guy who looked huge. Matthew looked scared for Veronica, awesome how sweet.. I'm starting to sound like a girl..

" Hey Roni! " David yelled out, her head whipped this way and as she was distracted the guy picked her up ready to throw her. But she quickly turned put a choke hold on his neck with her legs then made him flip forwards then jumped off last second and landed gracefully on his chest." not today Eric, keep practicing though" she said as she walked away from him to us. "Hey guys, how are you?" she asked us.

"good! " We all replied in unison.

"Thats what I want to hear" she said as she smiled

"Hey Matthew, how'd you like your gifts? "she asked

" thats kinda the reason I'm here, it is too much I can tell accept them "he said in a rushed tone

" I knew you were going to say that, thats why I burned the recipt as soon as I got home, so you kinda have to accept it" she told him

"But I don't know how to use them " he said

" thats why i'm going to show you silly" she said as she smiled and grabbed his arm and walked away.

Josh and I went to do our rounds. We stumbled apon a big group of rouges. I mind linked her but she had us blocked out. Josh quickly ran to the pack house to tell her. I went to estimate how many there are.

Joshs POV

I ran to the pack house to tell Roni about the rouges. When I got there I burst in and screamed "Alp-... Veronica, I need you outside now, they are attacking"

"I'll be right out" she told me. I waited for her and when she stepped out I immediately started explaining the situation. "There is a big group of rouges on our territory. Ethan Is trying to estimate how many there are." I told her

"Okay let's go kick some rouge ass" she said enthusiastically. We went to do just that.

When we got there we found almost 40 In wolf form and 20 in human. "ha we can take 60 rouge with our 460, call all of our best warrior's I'll go and try to find the leader" she said to me and Ethan

"yes alpha" we said.

We went and got all of our warrior's and started walking back to alpha.

We went into battle and they were tougher than we thought. But we can do it.
