A string of fate

Me and Primo ended up in a situation that our feelings for each other is clear but we don't have a label yet. We don't have a relationship but the clear understanding is there. It's fine with me. Ayokong madaliin ang lahat ng bagay sa aming dalawa. We are enjoying each other's company. He's handling so many things to himself and I really want him to take his time. I might have some confusion still but one thing is for sure. I know I will wait.

"Are you free tomorrow?"

My shift just ended and Primo go in early again para may oras pa syang ihatid ako. That became a routine. Pumapasok sya ng maaga dalawa o tatlong beses sa isang linggo para masiguradong magkaabutan kami sa trabaho. We'll eat breakfast together bago nya ako samahan sa sakayan ng jeep at sya naman ang papasok.

I really appreciate his efforts. Ayoko na sanang gawin nya 'yon dahil alam kong pagod din sya sa trabaho at kailangan ng mahabang pahinga pero hindi sya nakikinig sa akin. I can't help but look at him those times that we are together. He wake up early than his usual time just to spend time with me. It may be simple, a bare minimum, but it means so much to me. Lahat ng ginagawa nya ay malaking bagay para sa akin.

For the last three months, Primo is there. We're together all the time and we really build a bond already. Nasanay na akong nandyan sya palagi at lagi ko nading ginugusto na kasama sya. There's also a lot of shits in me, may pagkakataon na hindi ako maayos, but Primo helps me in a way na sya lang ang nakakagawa. Ang gaan kapag nandyan sya. That might be one of the reasons why I fall for him. I feel the comfort in his presence. I feel safe around him.

"Wala. Do we have plans?"

Tiningnan ko si Primo habang nilalagay ko ang mga pagkain na para sa kanya. Sinabi nyang sya na ang bahala doon pero inayos ko padin 'yon. He stares at him and I just smiled at him. Ganon ang laging nangyayari kapag may sinasabi sya at hindi ako sumusunod.

"Let's date. Sa Tagaytay tayo. Payag ka?" Hindi ako nakasagot agad at tinitigan ko si Primo. I wanted to laugh because of the way he said it. "What? Ayaw mo? Sige. Ako nalang-"

"That was so smooth, Primo." Sabi ko at nakita ko ang magandang ngiti nya. "What's your plan? Let me know about it. Sasama ako."

"As you should. I've been thinking about it since your birthday."

We started eating and talks about his plan. Nakikinig ako sa mga sinasabi ni Primo at pinipigilan ko ang ngiti ko. He's just so cute. Everything is planned out. Tila ba nakikita ko kung paano nya isipin at ayusin ang lahat ng mangyayari sa araw na 'yon. And of course, I don't have to do anything but to go out with him.

"Are you familiar with Starbucks Hiraya?"

Saglit akong napaisip. "I think I heard about it already. Is that the famous starbucks? The place that has a nice view of taal?"

Tumango si Primo. "Have you been there?" He asked then grab a tissue and I paused for a moment when he wiped something off to my lips.

"Hindi pa. I don't usually go to Tagaytay. Bihira."
That's really a nice place. Nagkakataon lang na hindi ako masyadong nagagawi doon. There's a lot of famous places there that I've never been to.
