"What? No. You gotta be kidding me.."

Hindi makapaniwalang tiningnan ko si Jai habang nagliligpit ako ng gamit sa table. Nagtaas sya ng kilay sa akin at napatunayan ko na seryoso sya sa sinabi nya.

"Gwen didn't tell me. Kailan sila nagkabalikan? And now they're getting married?"

I'm still processing what she just said. It's just two weeks since the last time our group went out. Walang sinabi sa akin si Gwen nung gabing 'yon. Ni hindi ko alam na nagkabalikan sila ni Paul.

"Well, they got back together just last week. I guess Paul don't wanna waste more time that's why he proposed." Sabi ni Jai at ngumisi. Kumunot ang noo ko at hindi padin makapaniwala.

"I mean.. it's fine. I was just surprised."

"Who wouldn't? Masyadong mabilis. But yeah.. it's happening. Another person in the group is getting married. Gwen might contact you anytime soon to tell you this."

"She's crazy.. Talagang hindi nya sinasabi sa akin."

Jai is right. Masyadong mabilis at kahit sino nga ay magugulat. Even so.. I'm happy for my friend. Paul is a nice guy and I know this time.. he'll really take care of Gwen. It took time for her to trust again and I know she is still scared but for sure she sees something that makes her took a risk.

Another news from my friend came. Aubrey is getting married soon too. Wala na akong oras para magulat at matagal na naming hinihintay 'yon. She's in a relationship with Harvy for more than a decade now. Finally it's going to happen.

A lot of my friends are really in this stage of their lives now. We're all in the right age and it's really okay for them to settle. Nakakatuwa. I wasn't with them from the start but I came along the way and I'm grateful that I'll be part of their biggest event.

"I'm so up to be a bridesmaid." Tumawa si Kate nang marinig ang sinabi ko. "And a ninang too. God.. It's really happening. We're just talking about it years back."

"Right? We do nothing but to ask Aubs when she's getting married. Tuwang tuwa ang gaga nung nag propose si Harvs."

Nagkwentuhan kami ni Kate habang pareho kaming sinusukatan para sa damit na susuotin namin sa kasal. Nasa kilalang store kami na si Aubrey mismo ang kumuha. She just asked us about our schedule for her to inform the shop. Me and Kate are so busy with work and other stuff. Pinilit naming ipasok sa schedule ang fitting dahil kami nalang daw ang hindi nasusukatan. We're not in a rush though. Aubrey is just worried that we can't make it.

"As if we'll let ourselves not to be there." Sabi ni Kate, natatawa din sa pagiging paranoid ng kaibigan namin.

Nang matapos kaming sukatan ni Kate ay umalis nadin kami. Hinatid ko sya pabalik sa hospital kung saan sya nagtatrabaho at dumiretso nadin ako pauwi sa condo. It's friday and I'm planning to go home. We have a family gathering tomorrow night and my cousins made sure that I will be there. We had a family event last week too but I wasn't able to make it because of my hectic schedule.
