You walked into the castle of Asgard. You worked their as a maiden. Your family had served the queen's and King's all their lives. You held your head down while you did.

Loki was sitting in the throne room. He loved to pretend that the throne belonged to him. Especially when Thor and Odin were off doing something else.

You and Loki were friends. You had known him all your life. You basically grew up together. He was the God of Mischieve.. you liked the chaos that surrounded him. But right now you couldn't even look him in the eye.

''Hello Y/N.'' Loki said. ''Good to see you on this pleasant day.''

''Yeah hey, is your mother in her room?'' You asked.

Loki frowned as you just walked straight through the room with your head down. Loki really appreciated you. You actually kept him grounded sometimes. No one had ever done that before.

''You're not even going to say hello? Not even a smile?''

''I'll take that as a yes.'' You sighed, trying to avoid him.

''She's not, actually.''

You froze into place.

''Where is she then?''

Loki got up off the throne and walked over to you. You bit your nail as an excuse to keep your head down.

''Are you alright?'' He asked you.

"'Yeah I'm fine. Where's your mother?''

''I told you, she's not here.'' He frowned.

''Alright, I'll see you later then.''

You turned around and walked away. Loki grabbed your arm. In a response you looked back, straight up at him. Loki looked at you in shock and slowly let you go.

He grabbed your chin and looked at your face. You had a black eye and knew he could see that. You got into an argument with your boyfriend last night. You didn't love him anymore. He became very aggressive towards you. He often screamed at you or he would hit you. You were too scared to leave him because of it. He was actually a human who you met on earth and brought to Asgard. Biggest mistake of your life.

''What happened?'' Loki asked.

You pulled your head out of his arm.

''I-I fell.''

''On your eye?'' He asked. ''How did you manage to do that?''

You swallowed and looked at him. He saw the panic in your eyes. You clearly weren't being honest with him.

''Who did this to you?'' He asked.

''No one! I-I fell. It was an accident!''

Loki looked at you.

''She's right.''

Loki looked past your shoulder and saw your boyfriend, Ethan, walking in. He saw your posture tense as he placed an hand on your shoulder. Your eyes were begging him for help. Loki had to try his best not to kill him right on the spot.

''Well, if you know so much about it.. how did she fall?'' Loki asked while looking at him.

''She fell in the living room. Nothing major.'' Ethan sighed. ''What's it to you anyways?''

''What's it to me? Oh I don't believe you.''

You looked at him as you felt Ethans grip on you tighten. Loki saw tears come up in your eyes.

''Han Iyver. (He's lying)'' You said.

Loki looked at you. You used your Allspeak ability to talk to him. Loki looked at him.

''What did you just say?'' Ethan asked.

''I told him to trust you.'' You said. ''It means trust him.''

''You could've just said that in English.''

Loki snorted and looked at Ethan. You had no idea how this was going to end. You just hoped you could get away with it for a little longer.

''I don't really think I should trust him. Gjorde han dette mot deg? (Did he do this to you?)''

''What did he say?!'' Ethan sneered.

''He asked me if I'm sure.'' You lied. ''Ja, det gjorde han. (Yes, he did) You can trust him.''

Suddenly Ethan pulled your shoulder back.

''Lets go.'' He sneered.

You looked back at Loki. He saw the fear in your eyes. You knew he was just going to do this to you again.

''Han skal få svi for det han gjorde (he will pay for what he did).''

He then moved his hands past his head. He put on his horns and he summoned his knifes.

''Mortal.'' He hissed.

Ethan turned around and shot him a nasty look.

''Are you talking to me?'' He asked.

''This is the last time you've laid your hands on her.''

He walked towards you two. You pulled yourself away from Ethan and ran away while Loki blasted him back with his magic.

''You know, I told my brother and Y/N that it was a horrible idea to bring a mortal into Asgard. Turns out I'm right.''

''What the fuck man.'' Ethan hissed while getting up.

Loki grabbed him by his shirt and threw him into a pillars. Ethan groaned in pain as he hit the floor. Loki looked at you and passed you a rare smile before he walked over to Ethan.

He stabbed him in the shoulder with his knife and sat down on top of him. His knives were against Ethans throat.

''Loki no! It's not worth it.''

Loki looked at you.

''Oh, it definitely is.'' He smirked.

''No! Please!''

Loki rolled his eyes.

''Really? This guy beat you up and you're not even going to let me kill him?''

''No. You can resolve this without killing him.''

Loki sighed and looked back at him.

''You're gone from Asgard by tomorrow. You have 24 hours. If you're not gone my knife will slice right through your mortal body.'' Loki spat.

He got up and kicked him in his side so he'd get up. Ethan looked at you with an angry face.

''Faen ta deg (fuck you).'' You smiled at him.

Loki laughed as he walked away. You slowly approached Loki as he put his knifes away. He looked at you.

''Why didn't you tell me? You always tell me everything.''

You just shrugged and hugged him. You guys never hugged. Loki wasn't really into affection.. or like it was new to him. He then wrapped his arms around you.

''I was scared.'' You said. ''Also since when do you help people without betraying them?''

You let our a giggle as you slowly let him go.

''You're the only person in the galaxy I can stand. Which is a compliment.''

''I'm glad you can stand me.. I can stand you too.''
