"Good morning Shay." I said as I opened the door for her to come in.

"Good morning Paula. I smelt those pancakes all outside in the hallway so I know you cooked." She said as she headed to the kitchen for a plate.

"You smell everything chile."

"Not everything. So what you have to do today?" She asked as she poured syrup on her pancakes.

"House viewing with the Wilsons."

"Umh. You still on that mansion up the road?"

"Yup. Now where are you headed?"

"I have to meet with a compactor about my building."

"I though you chose one that was move in ready?"

"The lease was way over priced so I decided to build my own."

"You know that's even more money right?"

"I know but we're not gonna stress out about that right now. I got thirty more minutes before I do that."

"Then you might want to ease yo mind right about now." I said as I laughed.

"So where is Shawn?" Shay asked.

"He's in the back doing something gurl." I responded
as I slipped my foot in my heels.

I checked my makeup in the mirror, applied my lipstick and fluffed out my hair. I checked the time on my watch.

"Yo, Whats up Shay?"

"Hey Shawn nothing much. I was just asking about you."

"What yall in here talm bout?"

"Work." Shay responded as she rolled her eyes.

"When you find something you love to do.. its never work shay."

"Your always the pep talker Shawn."

"That's part of my job.. too motivate."

"I need to be motivated sometimes. shid I need to hit the gym and let you work me out a little bit."

"I don't fool around when I'm training."

"I know you're bout your business."

"Are you too done cause we know Shay aint nun but all talk and we cant be late." I asked as I fiddled with my jewelry and grabbed my purse.

"Yea we ready babe." Shawn replied as he met me at the door.

We all headed out, I locked up the house and we went our separate ways.

Late that afternoon I met up with Shay for lunch.

"So how was the house viewing?" She asked.

"It was good, I might have it sold by the end of the week."

"That's great Paula!"

"I know right, I'll be glad when its done."

"The Wilsons must be banking hard to blow that kind of money."

"Gurl I don't know but all I'm worried about is cashing that check and getting my half of the commissions."

"You better know, you don't want that check to bounce."

"You right." I agreed pointing at her.

We walked into the restaurant and sat down at the table to order.

"So I know its Thursday but what you and Shawn got planned this weekend?" She asked as she handed the menu to the waiter after she finished ordering.
