Destined

The road was full of street vendors, people walking by, loud noise of vehicles passing through, the smoke from nearby factory.... Krizzaine was standing there with her backpack in front of the bus stand to catch the next bus. She was in hurry to reach Simon Valley where she was tutoring a student.She is a postgraduate scholar in the university. She lives on her stipend and the money earned from tutoring. After completing her tutoring by 6,She goes to nearby convenience store where she works partime till 10:30..This was her daily schedule. But today she had extra duty in university which made her late for tutoring.. She was nearly exhausted. But being born to a poor family.. This was the only thing she could do to help her parents.

While waiting for the bus, she watched nearby stores, people walking by.. She saw someone walking towards her.... She just neglected it because no one outside knew her because she was from another state and was living in an apartment nearby university where students from the university lived.. Since it was provided by the university, she was able to afford the rent.. She returned to her phone and started playing one of her favourite song on Spotify.... Lover..... She was enjoying her music... The Bus stop was full of people waiting for bus. She noticed someone came and sat next to her. But she was busy listening to music.

The bus came..She stood up to get onto to the bus But someone grasped on to her hand. Alarmed by the action, She looked backwards to see who it was...... And He is.... Micah...
Wtf????
She was not ready for this. She didnt knew what to do. All she could she was him smiling at her.....Taking her to the beautiful memories they shared together.... That beautiful memories which always haunted her and made her life insufferable...............

She stood there not knowing what to do...
Hi krizzaine.. He said smiling to her.
Hi Micah.. She replied..
Why did you come?.. She asked
To see you, To talk to you... He replied..
She gave a faded smile to that answer.. She has been waiting fo that answer for years. But he never gave them.

How long are you staying? She asked him.
For two days.. The answer came along... You can stay with me. I have an extra room at my apartment.You can stay there.. She gave her answer and he was happy to hear that... She called her student and she said she had an emergency and will not be able to tutor for the day.. She also contacted the convenience store to mention the same.

They started to walk towards the apartment.Throughout the walk, it was utter silence... Within five minutes, they reached the apartment. They entered the apartment and she went to show him the room. It was small compared to the main room but was kept clean and neat. It had light blue curtains. Table had been set.... Column of books,a computer, everything was kept perfect.. A small bed...Better....

I had been using it as a study room..Are u ok with this? She asked.
Perfect.... He replied..

Bathroom is common. I think you wont mind it.You can fresh up. I will catch on later.. Saying this she left the room...

Micah was watching her this whole time. She has changed, her talk, her actions, everything about her has changed.. He decided to fresh up and have a talk with her later.

Micah had been working in abroad for the last 4 years. He had come home last week and decided to have a talk with her...  He knew she was studying in the next state and decided to come talk to her.They had been out of contact for the last 4 years so knew little about her.

Micah took a bath and came to the hall and sat on a couch. Krizzaine was busy making food.
What are you preparing? He asked.
Rice and chicken curry. She replied.
He just nodded.
How long are you going to stay here? He asked.
One more year. But i am going to do job somewhere near by.i am not returning to hometown. She replied.
His smile faded. She was too busy to notice that.
After making food, she went to freshen up.After that, they sat on the couch.. It was very awkward... Sitting beside your ex who hasn't been in touch for almost 4 years.... Really awkward... She decided to break the silence.

So, how's work going? She asked.
Im on my vacation. He replied.
She didnt knew what to ask next and decided to keep silence. He also didnt initiate to talk anything.He was also feeling awkward. They watched a movie and had dinner. Both went to their own rooms and never had a talk......

Krizzaine was lost in her thoughts. She couldnt sleep.She couldnt come to a point on why now? Why he came now? He had been ghosting her for almost 4 years. But now here he is.. Came to talk her but still not asked anything. He only gave reply to her questions... Thinking about that, she slowly went into her sleep.........

Meanwhile Micah, he had a very good sleep after a long time. He was really happy to see her. He knew he could get her back. He knew she still loves him... He had decided to win her back and he will..........
