Author's Note

Oh my goodness. It has been a ride since we last talked.

I must confess, I have cried actual tears over these past few chapters, in some sort of self-inflicted literary breakdown. Lol.

I myself did not expect them to have such a strong pull on one another. I thought Steven would tug. Maybe ripple the water a little. But no. This man said Bansho Ten'in and yanked JL straight into his emotional orbit like Nagato. (Naruto fans, you know what I mean).

So now we are here.

In a full-blown love triangle.

Because of this, I've updated the title and description to reflect the drama -- I mean development. I hope you don't see it as a betrayal, but more like... a surprise plot twist from a girl, standing in front of a Haneulz or a SteJay, asking you to love her. (And not throw tomatoes.)

But really, hear me out.

Isn't it aching?

Isn't it tender?

Isn't it the kind of longing you want to put in a jar and carry around with you forever?

My Steven. My kind, selfless Steven, with the emotional strength of a Mack truck and the arms to match.

My Han. Confused and growing. Learning his ABCs and his I love yous in the same breath.

JL. Scarred, battle-weary JL. One heartbeat away from resting his head right in the middle of a bloody field and letting someone else carry him for once.

I love them all so much.
