The new circumstance of being whisked off to elsewhere that shares the same rules of the game you played for the decades passed.
But of a world different, as no longer were the nine realms, in its place new and green.
Such as the small tomato sprout emerging from the soil beside her.

"Young lady, I'm afraid that this currency you possess has no value outside of the weight of gold itself," The village chief stroked his bead as if in deep thought, "If I may be so bold, how did you travel from all the way deep in the Forest of Tob to all the way down here to this humble town? No one in their right mind would dare venture into the more dangerous parts of the forest."
"That's because I am a mage! I'll let you know that my master is the best of the best, so don't you worry about me." Shiori let out a slight grin on her face, hoping the village needs healing or help in the way of magic. Not that she wishes harm on random innocent people, but if the gold from Yggdrasil can't be used, then she'll need to earn some so she won't need to eat Ningyo's cooking again.
"If you really are a mage as you said, then am I right to assume your master took you in from a young age and forbade you from interacting with the outside world? Seeing as you have little to no knowledge of..." The village chief left the sentence unfinished.
"Enri," the middle-aged man turns to the other person in the building, "Please take her around to see the village, we have a guest in our hands."
"Yes, sir!" The girl, Enri, saluted in mock fashion, then did a one-hundred-and-eighty turn to face Shiori, "We rarely get visitors to this neck of the woods, so please bear with our lack of...Accommodations," The girl paused for a moment, "If you haven't noticed on the walk here, our town doesn't have much in terms of specialty, but you'll see our charm soon enough with me as your guide here!" Enri ended her speech with a wink and a wide smile, and Shiori almost couldn't stop herself from cracking a smile due to how contagious it was.

A little later in the afternoon, the farmers were starting to pack up and head home for the day. Shiori took note that the technology was, in the most polite way she could put it, lacking. At least there's the river not far from the fields, yet due to the placement of said farm areas, they still need to haul a bucket around to water the wheat and plants.
More importantly, their poor backs! She saw both old and young carrying those buckets, which cannot be good for the spine. The way they carry it also strains their backs. No wonder all the older folks use cranes.
If she was gonna start helping, she'd start by sharing the correct and safer way to carry. "Enri-chan! Do you all carry buckets like that?" The town girl turned her head and stopped to reply, "Yes, is there a reason why?"
Huzzah! Conversation weak point! Just like how Mochi-kun taught me. "Doing it that way hurts you back in the long run, you know. It's no wonder the elders use cranes, back in my hometown, cranes were mostly unheard of, only shown in fairytales." Enri, shocked, used both of her hands to cover her mouth, "Eei! Really?" Enri began inspecting her back, "Mmm, I guess Bijou-san is right, it has been aching these days. I won't need to use a crane soon, right?"
"Of course not! As long as you start by correcting your posture," The shorter one looked around herself, searching for a suitable object to demonstrate the other, "like this!"
