The date

-Inuyasha's POV-

Dammit!

Why did she agree to go on a date with that hobo guy?!

What's so special about him?

I sit on Kagome's bed thinking all this while she's on a date with that guy.

I want to punch his face.

I don't know exactly why, but It makes me really angry that she seems to like him. 

Woah there inuyasha,

I think,

Your sounding like your almost,... Jealous,..of that guy.

What?!

No way, like I would get jealous over kagome.

Still, I throw another one of her pillows across the room in frustration. 

*ding~dong*

Oh, what's that? Danger?

I creep down the stairs expecting a demon .

Instead, I find those three girls  that kagome is friends with.

Oh, just them.

I sigh and  release my grip on tetsusaiga.

Still, what are they doing here?

They run up the stairs and all begin to talk at once.

"Are you just gonna let her go?!"

"He's gonna steal her away!"

"Be a man and go after her!"

I shake my head, trying to process all of this.

"What are you talking about?"

I say to them.

They all look at me like I'm the stupidest person in the world,

But I have no idea what they are on about. 

"Ka-go-me! 

They say slowly.

"Yeah, what about her?"

I answer.

"She's on a date with another guy!"

One of them says,

"So go after her as her boyfriend and clear things up!"

"Okay okay, fine!"

 I growl  and  run after them.

-Kagome's POV-

I wonder how Inuyasha's doing at home?

I hope he okay.

"-anything kagome?"

"Huh what?"

I say, coming out of my daydream to see hojo standing  in front of me. 

Oh right, I'm at the movie theater, this is our date. 

I can't be  thinking about inuyasha right now. 

That stupid grump.

Hojo laughs

"I said, would you like anything kagome?"

And points at a snack bar.

"Oh, no thank you hojo."

He smiles bavk at me and we walk into the movie theater just as the lights turn dark.

-skip to after the movie-

"That was a great movie!"

I say as I twirl out of the theater,

"I loved the part when the guy professed his love to the heroine (female hero)!"

Hojo blushes a little.

"Hehe, yeah. Maybe I could learn a few things from that guy."

I turn to him.

"Well, thank you for this hojo, it was really fun!"

Then, I begin to walk to the bus stop,

But I feel someone's hand on my arm.

I turn back around and hojo is still standing there. 

"Um, hojo?"

I ask questioningly.

Hojo blushes and says,

"I like you kagome, a lot."

Oh

I stare at him with a blank look on my face.

"Oh, wow hojo. You took me by surprise. "

I answer, a slight blush  on my face.

He lets go Of my arm and says,

"Would you be my girlfriend?"

This is a lot to process.

"I'm sorry hojo,"

I say,

"I'm going to need some time to think about it."

He nods.

"That's perfectly fine kagome, take as much time as you need."

I gulp 

Inuyasha isn't going to like this.

-Inuyasha's POV-

"Hey! Would you quit pullin' on me like that!"

Kagome's friend loosens her grip on my arm.

"Sorry,"

She says,

"I'm just anxious about what we'll find when we get there."

I don't answer.

I'm scared too.

We come to a clump of bushes in front of a huge castle.

"Get down!"

Kagome's friend says suddenly.

"What for!"

I complain,

I don't like people Pushin' me around.

I peek out from the top of the bush to see that jojo guy holding Kagome's arm and a growl comes to my throat.

How dare he hold her like that!

Then I hear,

"Would you be my girlfriend kagome?"

And a blush forming on Kagome's cheeks.

I don't wait to hear the answer.

I turn around and run away as fast as I can despite Kagome's friends shouting at me to come back.

So she did like him.

I think with a hollow feeling in my chest.

I stop when I hit a trail of Kagome's scent.

I breathe it in and think,

How much longer do I have you before he takes you,

Kagome.
