𝘀𝗲𝗼𝘂𝗹, 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗸𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮..

IT WAS TEN IN THE
morning and the two girls had only just woken up from their sleepover 'nap'. "What time did you girls sleep last night?" Ji Yunah, Haneul and Heeseung's mother asked as she used her thumb to wipe away the smudged mascara off of her daughter's face.

Taeri let out a groan and ran her hand through her messy hair, still wearing her mismatched pajamas as she slowly ate her cereal. "At like eight?" She sighed — earning a shocked gasped from the older woman as she stood up to greet the tired looking boy who had just entered the kitchen.

"Sleeping at eight in the morning and waking up at ten is ridiculous girls." She scolded whilst pulling down Heeseung's hood and brushing his messy blonde hair with her fingers, him letting out complaints in the process.

"Yeah, and thanks to you two I got hardly any sleep." Heeseung groggily spoke, fitting his hands into the pockets of his jumper as he approached the fridge.

Yunah playfully rolled her eyes and let out a small laugh at the seriousness of her son. "You don't sleep anyway, you're always on that PlayStation I regret buying you." She commented, making Haneul burst out laughing and Taeri to subtly giggle.

"Mum, did you know Taeri has a date today?" Haneul teasingly questioned, flaring her eyes and wiggling her brows at the girl sitting across from her. "It's with a guy named Kim Sunoo, he's the sweetest boy ever." She bragged with excitement for her friend.

Taeri felt a small blush rise onto her cheeks, her eyes flickering up at meet Mrs.Ji's with a shy smile - only to catch the gaze of the boy standing behind the older woman. He was turned slightly to the side, casually pouring cereal into a bowl, but the subtly of his turned head made painfully obvious that he was eavesdropping on the girls' conversation.

"What? Little innocent Taeri has a date..?" Yunah excitedly spoke and cupped the girls face, a wide grin plastered over her face. "And here I was thinking you'd end up with Heeseung." She thought aloud — both of Heeseung's and Taeri's gazes now meeting in a mixture of shock and embarrassment.

Haneul let out a gasp and stood up to wash her now empty bowl. "Mum, you know Taeri's too good for him." She stated and stuck her tongue out at her older brother.

Ji Yunah let out a sigh and tilted her head while clasping her hands together. "I'm just saying, I use to imagine you two ending up together and having a unique love story." She shrugged, "but this Sunoo boy.. what is he like?"

"I'm going to my room." Heeseung interrupted and shoved a spoonful of cereal into his mouth as he began to leave the kitchen — only to stop right outside and carry on listening in.
