Kai was bored in class today, and her day was slow. She wants to go home soon, missing her bed, but she can't because she just got a job recently.

She sighs softly as she stares at the board as if she could teleport to get out of the class quickly but alas there's no such superpower like that but if she were to have then she would be a shapeshifter.

She takes a glance at her watch to check the time and it's approaching the end of the class, she can't wait to get out of here quickly. Her bag is packed and ready to go before the crowd becomes chaos.

Five minutes later, the bell rang loudly and she stood up, grabbing her bag as she slid out of her seat and walked through the few people who got up, packing their bags while talking, moving around to talk to their friends as the noises have picked up when she passes through the crowd in peace.

She was clutching her phone against her palm, holding lightly as she opened it to check any notifications, though she didn't feel the need to respond to any of them except replying to her friends. She adjusted her tote bag on her shoulder on the other hand, she was holding her laptop against her side as she passed through the big crowd that was forming more as they all went to their respective classes quickly.

She took a left turn to where it would lead to the basement where she parked her car there, she walked downstairs, scrolling through her phone, minding her step as she went down avoiding others. Reaching the basement, she pulls her bag open to dig around to find her keys to open the car as she walks through the parking lot, looking for her car. She saw her car and pressed the button to unlock and open the door to put her bag and laptop in the back, making sure it was secured safely before shutting the door softly.

She opens the driver's door then slides in and shuts it close softly before turning on the car, putting her seat belt on, taking a glance at her surroundings, and eyes quickly flick in the back of the boot window to check before she floors the car out slowly, mindful of others.

She drives through the parking hall, the music starts to play in the background in low volume. She finally merges into the campus view, continues to drive through, and exits through the gate. Glancing from left to right before turning to take a left turn.

She finally reached her destination, her new workplace where she would be working, driving down to the basement to park her car. It took her five minutes to find the parking spot and she found it and quickly parked it.

She switched off the car, turned around to grab her bag, and then turned back. Taking a minute to mentally prepare to put up the act before meeting her new coworkers and she was not ready to work soon, she just wanted to go back home where she would feel safe.

The feeling of warmth and relaxation at home would calm her down and she'd crack a drink while binging books reading or watching her shows.

But right now at this moment, she can't and she needs money to survive.

She was a survivor and just recovering from the past she had left behind but she did her best by enduring and working hard to work to get money on the table.

She quickly grabbed her keys off the holder behind the gear stick, placed them inside the bag, and pulled the bag close before grabbing her laptop. She opened the car, slid out, and pressed the door handler button to lock the car, putting her bag on her shoulder.

She turned around to walk inside the building, feeling mentally prepared and ready to put her act up.

She went through the building, tagged her ID on the scanner, signing in to work.
