The gentle buzz of the Ouran courtyard was full of light laughter and polished shoes on clean stone. Y/N, in his oversized pastel hoodie with soft bunny ears flopping as he walked, clutched a thermos of tea as he trailed behind Haruhi. The two cousins were chatting with two friendly girls who giggled about the upcoming Culture Exposition.

"You should come watch with us, Y/N-kun!" one girl beamed. “Maybe the Host Club will do something silly again.”

"I-It sounds fun… if there are snacks," Y/N murmured shyly, cheeks slightly puffed.

Not far away, Hikaru and Kaoru were loudly teasing Renge, mocking her ignorance of instant coffee with dramatic flair. Y/N giggled behind his sleeve.

“We’re out of instant coffee,” Kaoru declared, peeking into their stash.

“I'll go get more,” Haruhi offered, already grabbing her bag.

“I’ll come too!” Y/N chirped, hopping up. “I wanna see if they have those almond candies again…”

“You just want the nuts,” Haruhi sighed fondly.

As they walked, Haruhi paused to tie her shoe, and Y/N wandered ahead — only to freeze as an ape (from who knows where) lobbed a banana peel near his feet.

“Eh—!” Slip!

Y/N let out a tiny squeak as he stumbled—and was caught by a strong pair of arms. Blinking, he looked up into the face of a tall girl with sharp, elegant features and piercing eyes.

“You’re… beautiful,” she breathed, stunned. “I knew it. You’re no errand boy—you’re an angel.”

Y/N blinked rapidly. “U-Um… thank you?”

Back in Music Room 3, the Host Club was mid-roleplay in knightly garb when three girls stormed in: the Zuka Club from St. Lobelia's Academy. The leader, Benio, entered dramatically, clutching Y/N’s hand, declaring with sparkle-filled eyes, “This gentle flower deserves freedom from the shackles of men!”

Tamaki’s reaction was immediate: a shout, a glare, and a very quick punch to the face from Benio. Down he went, wailing in despair as Y/N rushed to check on him.

“Y/N… my precious little snow rabbit Son… don’t be swayed by her glittery words…”

“I-I’m okay, senpai,” Y/N whispered, placing a cold compress on Tamaki’s cheek.

Kyoya calmly informed the club that the girls were from the infamous White Lily League. The twins cracked up. Renge made her standard motorized entrance, gushing about the Zuka Club’s romanticized ideal of girl power. As she left again just as mysteriously, the mood shifted.

Benio insulted Tamaki, claiming the Host Club's romantic acts were exploitative and wrong. She then declared her goal: to recruit Y/N and Haruhi both to St. Lobelia’s. Y/N, clinging to his shopping bag and looking incredibly confused, glanced from one dramatic person to the next.

“I… don’t think I’m allowed to transfer?” he squeaked.

But the argument exploded when Haruhi learned her mechanical pencil had been sold in a fundraising auction without her knowledge. Furious, she stomped out, dragging Y/N with her.

“You're mad too, right?” she asked.

Y/N nodded with a pout. “They didn’t even ask before touching my walnut-shaped eraser…”

Back in the clubroom, Tamaki sulked and worried. He muttered aloud, “Maybe… maybe they’re better off with those girls. Maybe they'd be happier.”

Y/N peeked in the door quietly. “I don’t wanna leave,” he said. “Even if Benio-san is kinda sparkly…”

Tamaki’s heart squeezed painfully.

The next day, the Zuka Club returned in full theatrical force, demanding Y/N and Haruhi. But as they opened the Music Room doors—they were struck silent.

Inside were the Host Club boys, all in frilly dresses and wigs.

“W-Welcome, dear sisters!” Kaoru grinned.

Hikaru winked. “We’ve all become your onee-sans now~”

Y/N covered his mouth with both hands, cheeks glowing with delight and barely-contained laughter.

“Oh my gosh… Tamaki-senpai, is that blush? It’s not supposed to go on your forehead…”

The Lobelia girls were appalled. Haruhi politely declined their offer, saying she never truly intended to transfer and only got upset over her pencil. “I don’t need saving. Especially not from these dorks.”

“I may be a bunny,” Y/N added shyly, “but I’m a very loyal bunny.” ( A/n : Since when?)

Benio dramatically promised that this wasn’t over and would win Y/N’s heart yet. But as she turned, she and her companions slipped on banana peels at the door. Again.

Later that evening, the club lounged around eating sweets, the mood light. Y/N was curled up in a window seat, nibbling on a nut-shaped cookie when Tamaki sat beside him.

“You didn’t really consider leaving… did you?” he asked, voice soft.

Y/N looked up. “No. I was just mad… and confused… and kind of scared. But… I like it here. With all of you.”

Tamaki gazed at him, then gently placed a hand over Y/N’s fluffy bunny hood.

“You’re one of us. You belong here. No one’s taking you away.”

Y/N nodded, heart fluttering. “Okay… but only if you buy me more nut cookies.”

Tamaki chuckled. “Deal, my little nutty snow bunny.”
